******************************************************************************
2. FAQ
******************************************************************************
Q: What is LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7?
A: This is a LEGO-styled action game released in June of 2010 based around
the last three (four) Harry Potter books/films.
Q: What is the ESRB rating of this game?
A: This game is rated E10+, with the added descriptors of Cartoon Violence
and Crude Humor.
Q: What has changed from Years 1-4?
A: Very little. This seems to be a direct continuation of the story. Oh,
there are some new extra things added to your students' arsenals, but
this game falls pretty much in line gameplay wise with the first game.
Q: Would this game be good for my kids?
A: Absolutely. All violence is done towards LEGO bricks, so there's no
blood, and all "dismemberment" is taken in a humorous stride. You'll find
nothing more objectionable or scary than in the Harry Potter films. As far
as positive aspects of the game towards kids, the gameplay is focused on
exploration, discovery, and critical thinking. The co-operative gameplay
style and forgiving difficulty is also a plus, as they allow parents and
kids alike to play together to solve the puzzles.
Q: How many people can play? Can I play online with others?
A: Two, and no.
Q: Does this game more closely follow the books or movies?
A: The movies, in general. The thing many people will notice first is the
soundtrack, taken directly from the films.
Q: Can I save in the middle of a Story Event?
A: Unfortunately, no. You must complete a Story Event and be returned to
the main Hogwarts hub before your game will be saved. On the other hand,
while in the main Hogwarts areas, or at the Leaky Cauldron, you can stop at
any time by selecting "Leaky Cauldron" from the pause menu (while at
Hogwarts), and then while at the Cauldron, selecting "Quit Game". This
action will save your progress. Your progress is also automatically saved
whenever you complete a Story Event or find a major collectible. You'll
know the game is saving whenever you see Harry's head appear in the lower
left corner.
Q: I played as a character in a Story Event. Why can't I use him/her?
A: Because that's not how it works in this game. You need to find
Character Tokens before you will be allowed to purchase and use them.
Q: What can I do with objects with red sparkles?
A: You need a character that knows Dark Magic. Most of them, you'll know
they have it because they have access to Avada Kedavra in their Spell Wheel,
but some don't have AK. They are actually somewhat tough to come by, as
getting most of those characters requires already having dark magic, but you
get Bellatrix Lestrange automatically at the end of the last Story Event,
so she's the most obvious.

3. BASICS
******************************************************************************
==============
3A. Controls =
==============
General Controls -
Left Analog Stick: Move your character.
Right Analog Stick: Move the camera.
X Button: Jump.
Square Button: Attack.
- For Muggles or Squibs, this is simply some kind of physical attack.
- For magic-using characters, this will shoot sparks out of their wand.
Hold down Square and move the Control Stick to target your attack. You'll
see a green circle around anything that you can strike when you pass the
cursor over it.
- Holding down the Square Button can also use whatever appropriate spell is
necessary for the target. For example, if your target reacts to Leviosa,
hold Square while targeting it and you will cast it. This works even if
you don't have Leviosa as your Active Spell.
Circle Button: Active Spell. Whichever spell your characters has active,
they will cast it. Some spells require you to have a proper target in order
for it to be invoked.
Triangle Button:
- Tapping Triangle will change your focus to another nearby character. You
can also use it to hop on vehicles.
- Holding down Triangle will bring up the "Spell Wheel" on characters that
can use magic, allowing them to switch to a different active spell.
L1 and R1 Buttons: Used during Free Play to change characters.
L2 and R2 Buttons: Quick-change Active Spell.
Start Button: Brings up Pause Menu.
Controls can slightly change depending on your situation. If something
specific changes per an event, I'll mention it in the walkthrough.
====================
3B. Menus/Displays =
====================
Main Menu -
New Game: Start a new game.
Load Game: Load a previously saved game.
View Game Controls: Shows a mockup of your controller and controls associated.
---
Options Menu -

Brightness: Adjust the screen's brightness
Motion Blur: With this on, movement will result in a motion blur.
---
Pause Menu -
Resume: Get back to the game.
Options: Opens Options Menu.
View Game Controls: Shows a mockup of your controller and controls associated.
Extras: Opens Extras menu, where you can select any extras you've purchased,
as well as enter secret codes.
Return to Hub/Diagon Alley: Returns you to Diagon Alley if you're in Hogwarts,
or to where you first entered the area if in a Story Event.
Quit: Returns to the Title Screen.
================
3C. Hints/Tips =
================
Blast freakin' everything. Lay waste to the area and rack up an awesome
stud total. If you find an open area, just start shooting sparks in random
directions and see what falls apart. Remember your spells, too. Especially
Leviosa. You can get some good studs from putting stuff together.
Studs are available in four denominations, each worth a different multiple of
ten:
Silver - 10
Gold - 100
Blue - 1000
Purple - 10000
Studs can be hidden in the darnedest of areas. Make sure to check behind
things, including the "front wall". You'll never know what could be hidden
there until you check, because the camera angle sure won't let you know.
******************************************************************************
4. THE WORLD OF MAGIC
******************************************************************************
The Wizarding World is chock full of mystical and whimsical stuff to use to
affect the world around you. Here is a compilation of all the things you can
do and learn.
=================
4A. Spell Wheel =
=================
Accessed by holding down Triangle and changed by pressing the L2 or R2
buttons, the Spell Wheel is your character's bank for their abilities. Not
all these abilities are proper spells; sometimes they're just magical items.
Most are learned by progressing through the story events. There are a bunch
you can buy at Weasley Wizard Wheezes, but they're largely useless. Keep in
mind that certain spells will only work with certain characters.
Wingardium Leviosa -
The most basic spell in the game, apart from sparks shooting. This spell
allows you to manipulate your environment. Any object that can have Leviosa
cast upon it will have a purple aura surrounding it when you target it.
Many objects just require you to hold down the button and they will be
manipulated on their own, but a few will require you to do the moving
yourself, which is done with the Left Analog Stick. Also added to this game
is the ability to fling certain items. Some items, after lifted, will spin
when you move the Left Analog Stick. Point them in one direction to build
up some spinning speed, then release Circle to toss the object.
- Can be used by most anyone in the game that has magic powers.
Pets/Animagus -
The "green" slot on many characters allows them to use animals, either a
pet they carry around with them, or allows them to transform using Animagus
powers. There are two types of things pets can do:
1) Crawl through pipes on the walls.
2) Dig in spots marked by blue paws.
Some pets can only do one of these things. Others can do both. Hermione's
cat, Crookshanks, for instance, can do both.
- Here's a list of characters and their animal abilites:
Ron - Pigwidgeon (Pipes)
Hermione - Crookshanks (Both)
Neville - Trevor (Pipes)
Sirius - Dog Animagus (Dig)
Ginny - Arnold (Pipes)
Fred/George - Decoy Detonator (Pipes)
Remus Lupin - Werewolf (Dig, also has super strength)
McGonagall - Cat Animagus (Both)
Rita Skeeter - Beetle Animagus (Pipes)
Lumos -
This spell creates a ball of light at the tip of the character's wand. It
can be used to light up a dark area, but also to repel large growths of
vines. Activate Lumos, then walk up to the creepers to make them shrink
away. Note that you'll walk slightly slower with this active. This can
also be fired, although there's not much that has an effect from it.
- All students have this spell following the first DADA class in Year 5.
Invisibility Cloak -
A cloak that used to belong to his father, Harry receives this as a
Christmas present during his first year. Wearing the cloak makes Harry
completely invisible, but does make him move more slowly. He can use the
cloak to sneak past things that would otherwise stop him.
- Harry gets the use of his cloak following the first DADA class in Year 5.
Patronus Charm -
The Patronus charm is an advanced spell that conjures up a person's positive
feelings and uses them as a weapon, specifically against dementors. In
advanced stages, it will manifest itself in the form of an animal that
represents its caster.
- Harry begins with the ability to use this. The rest of the students will
learn it after the second Dumbledore's Army meeting in Year 5. Most adults
will know this spell innately.
Diffindo -
The Severing Charm is designed to cut things apart. For the purpose of this
game, it's used on red objects. On smaller red objects, simply casting it
at the object will break it. On walls or larger objects, an outline will
appear. Once the outline is visible, step up to the wall and press Square
to start tracing out a pattern. Once the pattern is complete, you can
assemble the object you cut out and the wall should collapse.
- All students learn this in Year 5 after their first Charms class (after
the third chapter)
Focus -
This spell is an aspect of Legimency, the ability to read minds. In the
context of this game, the spell can be used on characters with clouds
floating above their heads. The clouds will disperse revealing an item
that you'll need to give them for something to happen.
- Harry learns this after his Occlumency lessons with Professor Snape in Year
Six shortly after befriending Grawp (this is after "Kreacher Discomforts").
Certain other characters know this spell innately, such as Snape and Moody.
Aguamenti -
This spell conjures a jet of water. It can be used to put out small
fires, repel enemies, or fill containers marked with a water droplet symbol.
These objects that need water generally don't have the droplet symbol until
you have Aguamenti at the ready.
- All students and adults learn this spell not long after the "Just Desserts"
event in Year Six.
Reducto -
The Reductor Curse is a destructive spell that breaks things apart. In the
game, it is used against shiny objects as a more powerful destructive spell.
- All students learn this in Year Six after "A Not So Merry Christmas".
Adult magic-users can already use this.
Deluminator -
This is bequeathed to Ron Weasley, and replaces his Lumos spell. He moves
pretty slowly with it out. This is used to pull yellow lights from small
sparkly lanterns, and place them in sparkly lanterns that don't have lights,
usually to open some kind of passage.
- Ron receives this after "The Seven Harrys" in Year Seven.
Avada Kedavra -
The worst of the three Unforgivable Curses, the Killing Curse manifests as
a great flash of green light that, once it hits its target, causes instant
death. Only one person has ever survived the curse: Harry Potter, when he
was one year old.
- Only dark magic users have access to this curse, like Lord Voldemort and
Bellatrix Lestrange. Several others have it, but there are really too many
to list.
---
This next list of spells are ones you can buy from Weasley Wizard Wheezes in
Diagon Alley. I'll say right at the outset that none of these spells are
necessary to beat the game, and most of them aren't even that useful. For
all spells but the last one, these will be go into your "red" spell slot
(the same one occupied by Transfiguration and Expelliarmus).
When you have your red spell as the active one, the spells will cycle about
every second through a list, and whichever icon is visible on display will
be the one cast. Most of these are in place just for a laugh.

====================
4B. Passive Skills =
====================
These are talents that do not need to be actively selected. Your character
will have an inherent ability and you can use that character to apply that
ability. Many of these are relatively unique to certain characters.
Also in this list are potions: Potions are based around cauldrons that pop up
all over the Hogwarts campus. Using black cauldrons, you can access any
potion you've unlocked and use it there. Gold cauldrons cannot be opened
until you've unlocked Polyjuice.
---
Strength -
The character has particular strength of muscle beyond the average human.
With this ability, one can readily pull on orange handles that exist in the
field. There is also a potion that can replicate this (see below).
- Used by: Dudley Dursley, Hagrid, Fang
Magical Repair -
Arthur Weasley has the unique ability to repair any blue LEGO object that
appears to be smoking. He'll fix it up using his own unique talents for
turning Muggle objects magical.
- Used by: Arthur Weasley
Rune Book -
The character carries with them a blue book. This allows them to read
rune cabinets in the game. They need to stand in front of the cabinet and
press Circle. The four runes will light up in a particular order, and you
need to match that to open the cabinet.
- Used by: Hermione, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall
Dig -
In addition to animals that can be called upon to dig, some characters have
the ability to do so innately. Hold down Circle near a marked dig patch
(with blue paws floating out of it) to dig up its contents.
- Used by: Neville Longbottom, Fang
Parseltongue -
The ability to speak to snakes is a rare one, and most people associate it
with dark magic since Salazar Slytherin was famous for it. With this
ability, if you see cabinets that have a series of colored "S"'s on them,
you can use them the same way a character with a book uses a rune cabinet.
- Harry, Ron, and Voldemort can use this ability. For those of you raising
an eyebrow at that second one, remember Ron used a little bit of it to
open the Chamber of Secrets.
Strength Potion -
This appears as a yellow potion in a black cauldron. To activate the
cauldron, you need to throw in the three ingredients: a purple thing that
I call a "thorn blossom", a "bone arm", and a "snake fang". With all
three of these, press Circle next to the bubbling cauldron and you'll
suddenly have the strength to pull orange handles.
- This is available in just about any Hogwarts cauldron from the beginning.
Crossbow -
This is technically on the Spell Wheel for Hagrid, but it's really not a
spell, so I'm putting it here. There's not much to it, really. It's just
something that harms enemies, like a wand that can shoot sparks but nothing
else.
- Used by: Hagrid
Invisibility Potion -
This potion has the same effect as the Invisibility Cloak. Drinking it
will make the drinker invisible. It has very limited effect in the game.
- This is added to the black Hogwarts cauldrons after Harry gets kicked out
of DADA in Year Five, at the same time he gets his Cloak.
Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Boxes -
In certain points in the field, you'll find these orange and purple boxes.
Only members of the Weasley clan can successfully open these. You'll find
either a Whizbang (a rocket which will blow something up), a pair of Sticky
Trainers (for climbing specially marked walls), or a Portable Swamp (which
will usually make something appear or go away).
- These can be accessed once Fred and George make their escape after Kreacher
Discomfort in Year Six.
Spectrespecs -
In certain points in the field are little news boxes that are marked "The
Quibbler". When you use them any time before Year Six, any character that
uses it will pull out the magazine and simply laugh at it. Once Year Six
starts, Luna will point out that they contain Spectrespecs, which can allow
you to see hidden bricks. These hidden bricks are always marked by a vague
field of blue and purple sparkles.
- These can be pulled out of Quibbler boxes starting in Year Six.
Draught of Living Death -
Officially, this potion is an incredible sleeping brew that gives the outward
appearance of death. In the context of this game, drinking it turns you
into a skeleton temporarily, with no other real effect.
- This is added to the black Hogwarts cauldrons after you mix it up in
Year Six in Slughorn's class.
Polyjuice Potion -
A rather complex potion that is brewed to change whoever drinks it into
another person's form entirely. These potions are found in gold cauldrons
with green goo inside them. The ingredients for the potion are a cherry,
an apple, and some hair. With the potion ready, press Circle next to it
and you can turn yourself into any character you've already purchased. You
will remain as that character indefinitely and have all their skills and
talents. The only thing that will automatically change you back is going
to the next cutscene or Story Event.
- Once you've completed "The Seven Harrys" in Year Seven, this potion will
be added to the regular cauldrons in Hogwarts, and will also open up all
the gold cauldrons. When using Polyjuice, you'll select someone to turn
into, and you'll also have another set of people given to you, as if you
were in Free Play.
Hermione's Bag -
Starting in Year Seven, Hermione gets herself a handbag and puts an
Undetectable Extension Charm on it, which allows her to put tons of stuff
inside that they'd need while they were on the run. If you come across a
purple oval platform, you can press Circle on it while controlling Hermione
and she'll pull something out of the bag.
- Hermione can first use this in Year Seven, during "The Seven Harrys".
Apparition -
An advanced form of magic, apparition is basically teleportation in that it
allows the wizard to travel anywhere he can visualize, as long there's no
magical protection preventing it. In the case of this game, apparition is
performed on special circular platforms, and allows travel between two
points.
- Dumbledore has this ability innately, but all characters will learn it
after "The Seven Harrys" in Year Seven.
Goblin Key -
The character, being a goblin, has access to locks and the secrets behind
them, particularly at Gringotts Bank.
- Used by: Griphook, Bogrod, Mrs. Cole (who is not a goblin)
Dark Magic -
This is an adapter to the Leviosa spell. Having knowledge of dark magic
allows the caster to use Leviosa on black objects with red sparkles.
- Used by: All Death Eaters, such as Lord Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange,
and really, too many to list here.

5. DIAGON ALLEY AND LONDON
******************************************************************************
For the sake of simplicity, I'll keep the "London" areas and the "Hogwarts"
areas separate.
These areas are basically places where you transition from Story Event to
Story Event. Hogwarts, too, figures heavily in these transitions. They
act as a hub. In case you're unfamiliar with video game terms, a "hub" is
basically an area that leads to multiple other areas, but is somewhat a
mission in and of itself.

==================
5B. Diagon Alley =
==================
This area is the "base" hub of the game, which is to say that this is where,
like in other LEGO games, you can purchase game-related things.
Diagon Alley -
The alley itself has little for you to do, but is mostly access to all the
other areas. You start at the bottom left and you'll find open shops as you
proceed to the back. First, behind a red lock, which you'll need to use
Diffindo to open, is a gate to Knockturn Alley. Further up the street, just
past the first left turn, is the future site of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.
Next on the left is Madam Malkin's. At the back end is the door to the Leaky
Cauldron.
GOLD BRICK: Just to the left of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes is a side street
that goes behind a building. Walk behind it to find this brick.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Mundungus Fletcher): Zap his little stand that he has set
up on the streets, then Leviosa it back together.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Gregorovitch): In front of Ollivanders are some vines
poking out. Once you have Lumos, repeatedly walk back and forth in front of
the vines to make them retreat until the token appears.
---
Leaky Cauldron -
There are five major points of interest in the inn itself.
Main Door: This is in the near right corner, and it acts differently
depending on where you are in the game. Most of the time, it will spit
you out on the streets of London, but at certain points in the story, exiting
will take you directly to Hogwarts, or directly to another Story Event.
Notice Board: These are your means for replaying old Story Events, either
going through the Story again or in Free Play Mode. They appear on the post
in the inn, and also a glowing doormat in front of them. Step on it and
you'll be allowed to select your Story Event. After which, you'll
select Replay Story or Free Play Mode.
Cinema Room: Go up the stairs and through the door on the landing to find a
back hallway leading to a room where you can view all cinematics you've seen.
You can also find the 200 Gold Brick reward here.
Mail Room: Instead of the Owlery of last game, you can find your collected
Parcels on display in this room, which is upstairs and the first door on
the left. You can purchase them and activate the Extras once you find them
at Hogwarts or Diagon Alley.
Back Door: On the back wall on the main floor is the exit back to Diagon
Alley.
GOLD BRICK: There are three glasses in this area. Place all three on the
counter.
STUDENT IN PERIL: You'll find him on the second floor landing, encased in a
web. Zap him.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Hestia Jones): Zap the bar stools and they'll spring up.
Stand on them when they spring to get launched up to the token.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Mrs. Figg): Go to the film room in the back of the upstairs
area and you'll find this behind the projector.
---
Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions -
This area serves two purposes.
Character Purchase: At the counter, you can purchase any extra characters you
have collected tokens for. These characters can then be used in a Free Play
run of a Story Event, or you can change into them in the hub areas by using a
Polyjuice Potion.
Custom Character: Go through the changing room in the back to find the area
where you can create custom characters. These characters can be used in a
Free Play run of a Story Event.
GOLD BRICK: On the upstairs landing, zap the left-hand curtain.
STUDENT IN PERIL: On the upstairs landing, zap the right-hand curtain.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Madam Malkin): Zap the clothes rack in the center of the
room.
---
Weasley's Wizard Wheezes -
This area also serves two purposes. Note that in Year Five, it's mostly
an abandoned building. After Year Six starts, the place will be jumping.
Still, the two main functions are available at all times.
Spell Purchase: There's a selection of spells for sale that do not appear in
the game as story-based spells. Most of them are relatively useless and
are only for comedic effect, but there are a few that could prove useful.
All of them are described in the Spells section above.
Secret Codes: If you find a secret code, head to the far left and you'll be
allowed to input it. You can also input codes from the Pause Menu.
STUDENT IN PERIL: In the back left, on a ladder, is a web with the student
trapped inside. Zap it.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Fred Weasley): After the shop opens, go to the part where
you enter the secret code, and zap the box of rockets sitting to the right
of it. Once they launch, zap the box again.
CHARACTER TOKEN (George Weasley): Same as Fred above, only the box of rockets
is to the left of the code "thing".
CHARACTER TOKEN (Fred (Pyjamas)): There's a box just left of the center
staircase that darkens the area when zapped. Doing so will also make this
token appear.
CHARACTER TOKEN (George (Pyjamas)): Once you learn Reducto, blast the three
cages holding Pygmy Puffs.
GOLD BRICK: Use dark magic on the music box in the back right.
---
Knockturn Alley -
This can only be reached once you get Diffindo and can remove the red lock
at the left end of the street in Diagon Alley. Borgin & Burkes can be
accessed at the end of the alley.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Slytherin Twin #1): There's a little spider cage at the end
of the alley. Zap it.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Slytherin Twin #2): There's a little spider cage off to
the side of the walkway. Zap it.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Sirius (Azkaban)): To the right of Borgin and Burkes, hidden
behind the foreground wall.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Pius Thicknesse): At the entrance of the alley, use dark
magic on the lock, then again to turn the pipe.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use dark magic on the rock on the student at the end of the
alley.
---
Borgin & Burkes -
In this shop are three things. The first and most obvious is the spot where
you can buy Gold Bricks. The first Gold Brick costs zero studs, the second
costs 100,000, and so on up to the last, which costs 1,500,000.
The second thing to note is up the stairs in the back. The pieces here form
a door and you get one for each Story Event you complete, meaning once you
complete the story, you can form this door and access the bonus level:
LEGO Town.
The third thing is the Vanishing Cabinet in the middle of the room. You can
only use this after the story is complete, where it will teleport you,
one-way only, to the Back Corridor in Hogwarts. It's basically just a quick
warp to the school.
GOLD BRICK: Floating near the mirror on the back wall.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Narcissa Malfoy): On the left side of the shop is a fish
tank. Fill it with Aguamenti, then zap the tank.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Mrs. Black): There's an object in the middle of the shop
that needs dark magic used on it. Assemble, then destroy, the resulting
skeleton.
===============================
5C. London and the Wilderness =
===============================
These parts don't have any "purchasing" related to them, and are just
transition areas. In truth, I could put them in the Hogwarts areas if I
wanted to, since they connect, but nah.
---
Streets of London -
This is an open street in downtown London. The entrance to the Leaky
Cauldron is in the back right, and there's a path down to the London
Underground which gets you to Platform 9 3/4. Late in the game, you'll
find a door on the left side which leads into Luchino Caffe, and beneath
the parked car, Hermione can use her bag to make an Apparition Point which
goes to the Tent.
GOLD BRICK: On the left side is a shop with a guitar in the window. Leviosa
it to make the brick appear.
STUDENT IN PERIL: He's in the red postbox next to the street. Zap it.
RED BRICK (Gold Brick Detector): In the lower right corner is a garbage
truck. Leviosa the garbage into the cans, then Leviosa the cans themselves
into the truck.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Mafalda Hopkirk): Near the phone booth, use Aguamenti on the
graffiti that looks like a LEGO face.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Mary Cattermole): Near the phone booth, use Aguamenti on the
graffiti that looks like a LEGO brick.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Rufus Scrimgeour): Use the Deluminator on the lamp in the
back right, near the Leaky Cauldron, then take it to the front right, near
the garbage can, to open up a shop door leading to the token.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Ministry Guard): Use a Goblin Key to unlock the safe.
---
Platform 9 3/4 -
Odd that you'd go to the Underground to get to the platform, considering it's
at the above-ground King's Cross Station, but oh well. This is the platform
of the famous Hogwarts Express which ferries students to and from Hogwarts.
The platform is accessed from the Streets of London area, and by pressing
Triangle next to the train, you can board it to be taken to Hogsmeade Station.
STUDENT IN PERIL: He's hanging from the big clock. Zap him down.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Waitress (Treats)): Blast the heck out of the newsstand.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Muggle Orphan): There's a yellow thing on the wall next to
the newsstand. Zap it.
GOLD BRICK: Use a pet (such as Crookshanks) to climb up the pipe at the
south end.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dudley (Shirt)): In the same spot at the Gold Brick.
RED BRICK (Score x4): In the back of the platform is a red steam cap. Cut
it open with Diffindo to release the brick.
---
Luchino Caffe -
This small coffee shop is where Harry, Ron, and Hermione fled to when being
chased by Death Eaters. It's accessed from the streets on the left side, but
only once Year Seven begins. There's also a kitchen in the back.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Petunia Dursley): On the left side of the cafe, Leviosa the
chalk onto the chalkboard.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Petunia (Green Coat)): On the right side of the cafe, Leviosa
all four clocks.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dudley Dursley): In the back right, grab a mug, then take
it to the coffee dispenser to fill it, then take the mug out to the green
table. Next, go to the kitchen in the back, and Leviosa the bug onto the
bug zapper to make meat (yuck). Take the meat to the green table.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Waitress (Luchino)): In the kitchen, Leviosa the radio.
STUDENT IN PERIL: In the kitchen, Leviosa the sink.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Vernon Dursley): After you free the student, Leviosa the
dishes into the sink, then onto the rack.
GOLD BRICK: Go to the kitchen and use Strength to pull open the oven.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Thorfinn Rowle): On the left side of the cafe, use dark
magic on the teacup.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dolohov (Workman)): On the left side of the cafe, use dark
magic on the cabinet to drop three sponges on the tables. Leviosa each of
them across the tables.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Mrs. Cole): Go back to the kitchen and use dark magic on
the gas tank there.
---
Tent -
This tent has an Undetectable Extension Charm that, like a certain police
box, is bigger on the inside. The Weasleys originally used this for the
Quidditch World Cup and then lent it to Hermione and the others for when they
were on the run. You can enter it from the Wilderness, although its specific
location in that area changes several times over the course of the story.
Inside are two important things. One is an apparition point which can bring
you back to London. The other is the Marauder's Map on the left table. Using
that during Year Seven will allow you to "travel" to Hogwarts in the sense
that you'll take control of Neville, Ginny, and Seamus if you want to do any
extra things. This will disappear after the endgame, though.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Xenophilius (Wedding)): Use the rune cabinet on the left side.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use the Deluminator to take light from the front to the
back where the student is encased in vines.
GOLD BRICK: Use dark magic on the object in the back left of the tent.
---
Wilderness -
This is an area you'll spend a lot of time in for Year Seven, as Harry, Ron,
and Hermione are on the run from the Death Eaters. It's actually quite a
sizeable area, and there's a lot of stuff here, mostly connecting Story
Events. You'll find that after certain Story Events you may end up in a part
of the Wilderness that's unfamiliar to you. Rest assured that the whole thing
is one big area and those parts connect.
STUDENT IN PERIL: From the hilltop, head down the path to the right and use
Aguamenti on the brown patch near the white owl on the stand.
RED BRICK (Christmas): At the right end of the big field is a large red
mushroom. Leviosa it out of the ground so you can hop on and ride it around.
Ride it over five smaller mushrooms that pop up.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Fleur Delacour): After saving the Student, zap the blue
flower that he pops out of.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Percy Weasley): Around the little pond in the center are
three tiny green frogs. Zap them into the water.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Hermione (Ministry)): Zap a bundle of rocks just to right
of the first spot the tent sits (on the hilltop).
CHARACTER TOKEN (Reg Cattermole): From the hilltop, head down the path to the
right and go past the first set of dark magic bricks. Use Aguamenti on a
brown patch to grow a thick green plant, then zap it open.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Ron (Winter Clothes)): After the Grave Danger Story Event,
you'll end up on the right side. Leviosa, then zap the three ice-covered
trees.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Xenophilius Lovegood): After the Sword and Locket Story Event,
you'll be forced to knock over a tree. You'll automatically free the
token when you do so.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Albert Runcorn): After The Thief's Downfall Story Event,
you'll be at the south end of the area. Near the water, Leviosa the fishing
pole.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dragomir Despard): In the south area, there's a red wall on
a shack. Diffindo it to find the token behind it.
CHARACTER TOKEN (James Potter (Ghost)): After the endgame, go up to the
hilltop on the left and approach the stag Patronus.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Remus Lupin): After the endgame, you'll see three bony
cows wandering around. Zap all three, then walk over to where they gather.
GOLD BRICK: On the hilltop is a little cap on the ground that needs dark magic
used on it. It creates a little shooting game. Shoot all three balloons
CHARACTER TOKEN (Scabior): Use dark magic on the dark plants to the right of
the gates to Malfoy Manor on the right side.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Lucius Malfoy): Use dark magic on the dark plants to the left
of the gates to Malfoy Manor on the right side.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Snatcher): Use dark magic on the stuff in the back of the
area, near the exit to the lake.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Yaxley): Use dark magic on the stuff on the left side of the
main field, near the hilltop.

6. HOGWARTS CASTLE
******************************************************************************
Unlike Diagon Alley, Hogwarts is more of a "story" hub. Many Story Events
are accessed from walking around Hogwarts. You will also attend classes and
learn and find new things. This section will describe Hogwarts room by
room. Note that things may change as you progress through the story, but
nothing is ever "lost forever". You can also find info on how to find extra
collectibles here. For specific events and walkthroughs to get from one
Story Event to another, see the walkthroughs specific to each Hogwarts year.
Note that Hogwarts has changed relatively little since the previous game,
although some unimportant areas have been eliminated, and others have been
added.

6A. Map of Hogwarts =
=====================
This is a bit crude, but it gives you a basic idea of how the rooms set up.
Note that I haven't been completely accurate as to "direction" with the
connections. I'll take it into more detail in the individual sections.

6B. Student Areas =
===================
Harry's Dorm -
This is Harry's room that he shares with Ron, Dean Thomas, and Seamus
Finnigan. The only exit is to the right, leading to the Common Room.
GOLD BRICK - You need Reducto for this. Blasting up the room will reveal
rocket parts. Make sure you blow up the shiny center and assemble all the
parts.
---
Gryffindor Common Room -
Where all Gryffindors can relax and chat together. Harry's Dorm can be
accessed on the left side, while the right side door heads to the Upper
Hallway.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Hermione (Ball Gown)): Zap the bookshelf on the left side
of the room, assemble the books into stairs, then climb to the top of the
shelf.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Harry (Pyjamas)): On the right side of the room, Leviosa
and fling the purple dart at the picture of Malfoy.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Ginny (Pyjamas)): Near the exit, flip the painting and
zap it.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use Aguamenti on the fireplace.
CHARACTER TOKEN (McGonagall (Pyjamas)): Use the Deluminator to move light
from the exit to the wizard painting on the left.
---
Upper Hallway -
An open hallway leading to several common rooms. The portrait of the Fat
Lady is apparently gone, which is a shame, but it makes it easier to hop in
and out of the Gryffindor Common Room. The main exit from this area is the
stairs leading down near the Slytherin Dungeon.
GOLD BRICK: Zap eight banners. Four are Gryffindor, by the door and in the
hallway, two are Slytherin flanking the door, and one each Ravenclaw and
Hufflepuff, near their respective doors.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Ron (Blue Pyjamas)): Open the rune cabinet near the
Hufflepuff Door.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Open the snake cabinet near the Slytherin door.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Fat Lady): Once you have Reducto, blast the two suits of
armor flanking the Gyrffindor door.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Blaise Zabini): Use dark magic on the snake head above the
Slytherin door, then use Hermione's bag to batter down the door.
---
Ravenclaw Tower -
This is accessed from the far right door in the Upper Hallway. Once you
learn Aguamenti, put out the fires on the torch near the gate to open it
up. Once again, the inner parts have been removed for this game.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use dark magic on the web to the left of the exit.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Marcus Belby): Same place as the Student.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Moaning Myrtle): Use Reducto on the middle of the three
blue shades along the wall on the stairs.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Luna (Pink Dress)): Use Spectrespecs and put together the
knocker on the door.
---
Hufflepuff Entry -
The door to the Hufflepuff Common Room, which is found near the Upper
Hallway, can only be accessed once you have dark magic to tear the lock off
the door. You can't get any further than the entry, though.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Madam Pomfrey): Blast the flower bed near the exit.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Neville (Tank Top)): Use Reducto on the shiny locked chest
and blast it open.
---
Slytherin Dungeon -
The door to the Slytherin Common Room can only be accessed once you use
dark magic on the serpent above the door. Again, no going into the
common room or dorm.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Draco (Sweater)): Open the snake door at the bottom.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Goyle (Jumper)): Use Aguamenti on the canister on the
left side of the room, then jump on the plunger.
=======================
6C. Main Castle Areas =
=======================
Grand Staircase -
The giant staircase with moving stairs and hundreds of portraits lining
the walls. The exit at the top of the stairs leads to the Upper Hallway,
while the exit at the bottom leads to the Entrance Hall. There's also a
way to the Back Corridor at the top of the stairs, although that doesn't
open up until later in the game.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Once you have Diffindo, use it on the locked chest to
the left of the bottom stairs.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dedalus Diggle): After you get access to the Back Corridor,
go to the back right corner to pop up in this upper area in the Grand
Staircase. Bounce on the webs to your left to reach the token. Alternately,
you can use Aguamenti on the stairs just below it to reach this exit.
GOLD BRICK: Once you have access to Spectrespecs, you can climb further up the
stairs and access a red well. Diffindo it down to find this brick.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Zacharias Smith): In the same place as the aforementioned
Gold Brick.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Ernie Prang): Further up the stairs past the previous is
a rune cabinet that has this token.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Regulus Black): Next to Dumbledore's Office, zap the
torches to light them, then put them out with Aguamenti.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dumbledore (Young)): Same as above.
---
Entrance Hall -
This is the main Entrance Hall of Hogwarts. Exits are on the right, leading
to the Grand Staircase, on the far left, leading to the Classrooms Hall,
in the back on the ground floor, leading to the Great Hall Foyer, a secret
passage in the dragon statue on the upper floor, leading to the Garden, and
the gate in the back left leading to the Library.
GOLD BRICK: Leviosa the six unlit torches in the room.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Leviosa the plume on the armor near the right-hand stairs.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Susan Bones): In the lower left corner, Leviosa the sword
to the nearby armor.
---

Great Hall. It also accesses the Back Corridor on the left and the Secret
Courtyard on the right at certain points in Year Five.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dean Thomas): Search behind the statue just to the right
of the door to the Great Hall.
GOLD BRICK: Once you learn Focus, use it on Filch, then break some nearby
bricks to uncover a broom to give to him.

walk up the wall and use Reducto on the chest.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use the Deluminator to move light from near the Great Hall
door to the right part of the room.
RED BRICK (Hogwarts Crest Detector): Use dark magic on the cabinet on the
right side, then assemble the pieces that come out.
---

This is the main convocation place for Hogwarts students and staff, as well
as where they eat their meals.
GOLD BRICK: Use Leviosa on three golden serving dishes.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Penelope Clearwater): Open the rune cabinet on the right
end of the room and zap the three candles that come out.
CHARACTER TOKEN (The Bloody Baron): On the back wall, zap the Slytherin
banner (second from the left).
CHARACTER TOKEN (Fat Friar): Zap the fruit bowl on the table near the
fireplace.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use Reducto on the silver dish cover in the back.
RED BRICK (Character Studs): There's a cabinet on the right end that needs
dark magic to open that contains this.
---
Back Corridor -
This new area is accessed on the left side of the Great Hall Foyer. It's a
long Y-shaped corridor that goes to the Room of Requirement for several
story points, and also runs to the right for a back way to the Grand
Staircase.
STUDENT IN PERIL: To the left of the front entrance to the Room of
Requirement, you'll find someone in webbing. Zap them.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Luna (Yellow Dress): Leviosa the plume on the suit of
armor at the south end.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Vincent Crabbe): Near the main door of the Room of
Requirement is a suit of armor. Blast it three times.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Cormac McLaggen): Use Leviosa on the four hanging
chandeliers, two on either of the hallway branches.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dirk Cresswell): Open the rune cabinet at the back-right
corner.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Blaise (Black Shirt)): There are four unlit torches in the
area that need zapping. Two are in either branch of the hallway.
RED BRICK (Stud Magnet): There's a shiny statue in the back left that needs
Reducto to destroy.
GOLD BRICK: Use dark magic on the chest in the back left.
---
Secret Courtyard -
Fred and George have a massive knowledge of Hogwarts' secrets, and during
Year Five, they go to this area, just off to the right of the Great Hall
Foyer, which accesses their workshop.
GOLD BRICK: On the ruined rooftop on the far right side.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Charlie Weasley): Once you get the Sticky Trainers, walk up
the far left wall.
CHARACTER TOKEN (George (OWLs)): Assemble the four crests on the back wall.
The Hufflepuff is already in place. You need to dig up the Gryffindor
Crest (near the cauldron). The Ravenclaw Crest is off to the right. Use
Lumos on the vines to free it. The Slytherin Crest requires you to zap the
rolled-up Slytherin banner just to the right of the L-shaped Weasley wall.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Fred (OWLs)): On the right side of the area, use Aguamenti
on the container to open it.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Once you have Reducto, blast the back wall in the center
to finish the sticky wall, the climb up it with the Sticky Trainers.
RED BRICK (Super Strength): Use dark magic on the little box to the left of
the door to the workshop.
---
Secret Workshop -
Fred and George's hide all their latest joke experiments here in preparation

STUDENT IN PERIL: Use dark magic on the red and black cabinet on the right.
---

The library is open to you once you use Aguamenti on the glass canister in
the Entrance Hall on the upper landing. It opens the back left gate.
GOLD BRICK: Dotted around the library are five yellow books in various
state of hiding. Return them all to their shelves.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Anthony Goldstein): You need a Ravenclaw student and
Diffindo. Go to the portrait on the right and press Circle in front of it
while in the form of the Ravenclaw. Next, Diffindo the key out of the wall

RED BRICK (Fall Rescue): In the same spot as the token above.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use Hermione's Bag at the far right end and fill the pool
you pull out with Aguamenti.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Madam Irma Pince): In the middle of the room, use dark
magic on the chest and assemble the fan. Ride it up to the token.
=====================
6D. Classroom Areas =
=====================
Classrooms Hall -
This is an open hallway leading to several classrooms, but it also has
several blockades for when you learn greater spells. It has exits leading
back to the Entrance Hall, to the Charms Class Path (to the left, behind the
vines), to Potions Class (back wall on the first floor, behind the gate), and
the Defense Against the Dark Arts Class (upper floor on the left side).
The last exit is on the far right behind the red wall, to the North Tower
Courtyard.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Hermione (Cardigan)): On the upper right side is a chess
board. Leviosa it.
GOLD BRICK: Once you open the gate to Potions class, this will be lying in
front of it.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Near the gate to the Potions class is a cabinet with a
silver lock. Use Reducto on it.
---
DADA Class -
The Defense Against the Dark Arts class is in the back left of the upper
level. Compared to the first game, you actually learn very little here.
GOLD BRICK: Hidden in the front left behind the stairs in the foreground.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Hanging from the balcony at the front of the class. Zap
him down.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Umbridge (Wizengamot): Use dark magic on the chest in the
back of the room.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Draco Malfoy): Once you open the previous chest, connect
the bones inside to the skeleton so it coughs up this token.

then zap it twice so it kicks the cabinet.
---
Charms Class Path -
This is a small path leading from the Classrooms Hall to the two Charms
classes.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Ron (Red Sweater)): Use Leviosa to move the sword to the
armor.
---
Charms Class 1 -
The first Charms class is where you learn Diffindo and Reducto.
GOLD BRICK: Cut open the flower on the back wall (part of the lesson).
STUDENT IN PERIL: Inside the Slytherin banner high up on the back wall.
You may need to go up to the balcony and drop the "H" panels nearby.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Justin Finch-Fletchley): Once you make the red vacuum
cleaner, repeatedly zap it until it breaks.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Hannah Abbot): Use Spectrespecs in the room and assemble
Flitwick's podium.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Professor Flitwick): Use Aguamenti on the fish tank on the
upper level and Leviosa the ring so the fish jumps through.
---
Charms Class 2 -
The second Charms class is where you learn Aguamenti.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use Aguamenti on the little fires that pop up.
GOLD BRICK: Hidden between the benches on the right side of the room.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Lavender Brown): In the back right corner, blast the stone
wizard a couple of times.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Cho Chang): In the upper area, use the Deluminator and take
the light from the left side to the right so the vines release the purple
helmet. Leviosa it onto the armor.
---
Potions Class -
This class is accessed from the Classroom Hall once you get access to
Spectrespecs in Year Six and can find the pieces necessary to open the gate.
GOLD BRICK: Hiding in the back left corner.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Attached to the web in the front right corner.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Charity Burbage): On the benches are four frogs under
glass. Zap all of them.
---
North Tower Courtyard -
Once you learn Diffindo, you can knock down the red wall on the right side
of the Classrooms Hall leading to this open area. In the back of the area is
a gate leading up to the North Tower were Divination Class is. On the right,
you'll need to use Hermione's Bag to open up the door to the Astronomy Tower.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Ginny (Dress)): Zap the three hanging plants, two by the
left door, one by the right.
GOLD BRICK: Using Spectrespecs, find some bricks near the center and assemble
them to open the plant so you can ride up its draft.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Neville (Waiter)): Same as the Gold Brick.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use Aguamenti on the plants on the back wall that have the
student tied up in them.
RED BRICK (Invincibility): Use Aguamenti on the back left patch of leaves on
the ground and zap the green cylinder plant that comes up.
---
Divination Class -
A place you won't have to visit during the storyline, Professor Trelawney's
class is accessed from the back of the North Tower Courtyard.
GOLD BRICK: Hidden to the near right behind a low table.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Repeatedly zap the large stack of teacups in the back left
corner.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Neville (Pyjamas)): On the back are three large hanging
teacups. Zap them all, then reassemble the pieces on the saucer.
RED BRICK (Character Token Detector): On the right side (near Trelawney) is
a box. Leviosa it, and you can use it to bounce up to the upper balcony.
Grab the Spectrespecs up there and use them to see the pieces on the left.
Assemble the table and zap it.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Professor Trelawney): Use Aguamenti on the container just
to the left of the exit.
---
Astronomy Tower -
Yet another "extra" area that you won't normally go to. This is found by
using Hermione's Bag on the right side of the North Tower Courtyard.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Antonin Dolohov): Zap the yellow telescope in the front
left corner.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Grindelwald (Old)): Use Diffindo to blast the red globe on
the left side.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Grindelwald (Young)): Open the rune cabinet in the back.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Open the snake cabinet in the back.
RED BRICK (Fast Magic): Use dark magic on each of five red candles dotted
around the room.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Professor McGonagall): Open the safe with a goblin key, then
assemble the lantern and stand. Use the Deluminator to take the light over
to the painting.
===================
6E. Outside Areas =
===================
Hogsmeade Station -
The part of Hogsmeade where the Hogwarts Express pulls up, and the first
place in the Hogwarts area that you visit in this game. After a certain
point, you'll be able to use the Express to travel back to London if you
want to explore that area. The only other exit is the gate to the
Carriage Path.
GOLD BRICK: Use Leviosa on the clock on the arch. (There is a bug that
allows this one to be collected twice)
CHARACTER TOKEN (Station Guard): Use Leviosa on five lampposts.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Luna (Overalls)): Use Reducto on the shiny object near
the pipe (to the left of the arch. Send a pet up the pipe to dislodge the
broom, then ride it up to the roof (as Harry or Ron).
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use Hermione's Bag at the right end of the area. She'll
pull out a shiny piggy bank. Reducto it and put the coin in the vending
machine.
RED BRICK (Red Brick Detector): Use dark magic on the "lock" on the Hogsmeade
sign, then zap it to flip it around.
---
Carriage Path -
The path that most Hogwarts students take to the castle, where carriages
pulled by thestrals take them through the woods. The gate to Carriage
Entry is in the back left and the way back to Hogsmeade Station is at the
near right. There's also a gate leading to the Hogsmeade Path on the back
wall that only opens in Year Six once you learn the Focus spell.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use Lumos on the vines covering the chest to the left of
the gate.
GOLD BRICK: Use Reducto on the shiny lock on the left side to open the way
to the pond, then hop in the little floatie and grab all the studs that
appear.
CHARCTER TOKEN (Lily (Young Casual)): In the same pond as the Gold Brick,
floating in the center.
---
Carriage Entry -
The carriages pull up in this area from the Carriage Path to the right, which
actually connects to the Back Courtyard at the left end. The first time
you visit here, though, you'll warp straight to the Great Hall once leaving
this area, although that's only a one-shot deal.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Luna Lovegood): Use Crookshanks to dig up the dig spot, then
assemble the steps and climb up to the top of the stump.
CHARACTER TOKEN (James Potter (Young)): Use super strength on the orange
handle on the stump.
RED BRICK (Score x8): Use Hermione's Bag on the patch of pumpkins and
Leviosa the resulting scarecrow.
---
Garden -
This used to be two areas in the first game. It's a small area accessed by a
secret passage in the Entrance Hall, which connects to both the Clock Tower
Courtyard on the left and the Covered Bridge on the right.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Rita Skeeter): Use Aguamenti on four spots on the walls to
grow flowers, then zap all four.
---
Covered Bridge -
This bridge connects the Garden (from the front) to the Forest Path (to the
back).
---
Forest Path -
This open field exits from the Covered Bridge to the left, and goes to the
right towards Hagrid's hut (his garden is now part of this area and not
separate) and further right towards the Forbidden Forest.
GOLD BRICK: Using the cauldron near the left-hand exit, take some Strength
Potion and head to Hagrid's. There's an orange handled object in his
garden to pull apart.
RED BRICK (Fast Dig): Grab some Spectrespecs out of the Quibbler Stand and
look at the upper rocky field. Put together the pieces there.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Professor Grubbly-Plank): Use Aguamenti on the big black
rock on all the points available.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Bellatrix (Azkaban)): Use Hermione's Bag on the purple pad
near Hagrid's to get a helicopter pumpkin. Ride it up to the token.
---
Forbidden Forest -
This is, of course, only a small part of the forest as a whole. You can
reach this by going through Hagrid's garden in the Forest Path area, then
continuing to the right.
GOLD BRICK: Once you can ride thestrals, mount one and ride up to the top of
the right side. You should see it floating around.
STUDENT IN PERIL: There is a student trapped in a tree. First, climb up to
the upper area and Lumos away the vines, then use Leviosa on the branches.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Luna (Blue Jumper)): Use Leviosa on the tree at the left
edge of the area.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Padma Patil): Drop down below the dead tree and dig up the
dig spot.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Katie Bell): Drop down below the dead tree and use dark
magic on the rock. Step on the rock to raise another one in the swamp,
with this token on it.
RED BRICK (Regenerate Hearts): Use dark magic on the clump of stuff near the
entrance, then carry the brick left across the bridge and through the dead
tree.
---
Clock Tower Courtyard -
This is a large open quad connecting directly to the Garden on the right and
the Back Courtyard in the back through the Clock Tower doors. The way to the
Greenhouse Path on the left is opened in Year Six once you learn Aguamenti.
GOLD BRICK: Use the Weasley Box in the back left corner.
CHARACTER TOKEN (McGonagall (Black)): You get this just before the Story
Event "Burning Bridges" automatically by giving McGonagall flowers, which
you have to do anyway to get the Story Event rolling.
---
Back Courtyard -
This open area connects to the Clock Tower Courtyard from the right, and goes
left to the Carriage Entry area. You'll connect back to the Carriage Path
about halfway through Year Five.
RED BRICK (Collect Ghost Studs): Use Diffindo on the tree in the center to
reveal the brick.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use the Deluminator and take the light from the back of the
area to the front and place it in the lantern to the right of the student
swarmed by fireflies.
---
Hogsmeade Path -
Soon after learning the Focus spell in Year Six, you'll open up the back gate
in the Carriage Path area leading here, which connects to the village of
Hogsmeade at the far right.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Fred (Winter)): At the point where the path goes up, zap
the cart lying in the road.
CHARACTER TOKEN (George (Winter)): At the point where the path bears down,
Leviosa, then zap the tree.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Near the owl that the Red Brick is delivered to is a
barrel. Reducto the shiny part of it.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Michael Corner): This is in the exact same spot as the
Student in Peril.
RED BRICK (Score x6): Use the Deluminator on the left near the owl and
take the light to the far right end to unfreeze the brick.
GOLD BRICK: Use super strength to open the orange-handled box in the back.
---
Hogsmeade -
The village of Hogsmeade is a Wizarding community that has businesses catered
to the older students and faculty of Hogwarts. It's accessed from the
Hogsmeade Path.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Parvati Patil): To the left of the door to the Three
Broomsticks is a pushcart. Zap it to pieces.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Dean (Winter)): Dig up the snow pile on the left.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Seamus (Winter)): Dig up the snow pile on the right.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Marietta Edgecombe): On top of the safe on the right side.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Harry (Winter)): Around the door to the Three Broomsticks
are several icicles. Zap all of them.
RED BRICK (Score x2): Once you have access to Spectrespecs, take them to
the left corner to find pieces of a snowman.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use the Deluminator to take a light from the left side to
where the student is encased in ice.
GOLD BRICK: Take a goblin to the right side and open the safe with its key.
---
Greenhouse Path -
This path area comes from the Clock Tower Courtyard to the right, and leads
straight back to the greenhouse and Herbology Class. You'll be able to
access this area once you learn Aguamenti in Year Six.
STUDENT IN PERIL: In the back left is an obvious student being sprayed with
water. Zap the jerk spraying him.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Cornelius Fudge): Use Aguamenti on the brown patch just to
the left of the gold cauldron and zap the blue flower that pops out.
GOLD BRICK: Use dark magic on the black plants on the right side of the
greenhouse.
---
Greenhouse -
The greenhouse is accessed from the back of the Greenhouse Path.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use Aguamenti on the container on the left side.
GOLD BRICK: Use Diffindo on the back wall to get a vacuum cleaner, then ride
it around onto five spots that need cleaning.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Arthur (Cardigan)): Use Hermione's Bag on the purple pad
behind the red wall, position the platforms, and climb the cactus.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Slughorn (Young)): Use dark magic on the cabinet behind the
red wall.
---
The Lake -
This area can be accessed with Hermione's Bag. Head down to the bottom of
the Forest Path area and you'll come upon a door with a purple pad.
GOLD BRICK: Use Hermione's Bag on the purple pad at the bottom. Bounce off
the mushroom to reach the brick.
RED BRICK (Score x10): Blast the first shiny statue with Reducto. Take the
brick down to the shore where the owl is.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Crabbe (Jumper)): Use super strength on the orange-handled
box.
STUDENT IN PERIL: Use dark magic on the black leaves in the back right
corner of the bottom area.
CHARACTER TOKEN (Professor Binns): Open the safe on the stairs with a
goblin key.
---
Quidditch Pitch -
This area can only be accessed with the Deluminator. Pull the light from
the main exit and bring it to the back to open the door. You can't actually
properly explore this area. What happens is that you hop on brooms and
get carried on rails, like the broom flying in the first Story Event. All
you need to do is maneuver to collect the most studs and all the items
floating around.
These four items are quite visible as you fly. All just a matter of tagging
them:

"Disciplinary hearing of the twelfth of August, into offenses committed under
the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery and the
International Statute of Secrecy by Harry James Potter, resident at number
four, Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey." - Cornelius Fudge
True Wizard at 120,000
Starting Characters: Harry Potter, Dudley Dursley
Additional Characters: Mad-Eye Moody, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Arthur Weasley
---
Walkthrough -
Playground: And let's begin. Note that Harry ONLY has access to Wingardium
Leviosa for the time being. Also note that Dudley has super strength.
Figure that out. First, Leviosa the plants out of the way of the gate in
the back right, then have Dudley pull the gate open. In the next area,
zap the broken car to uncover a handle, then pull on it to break it apart.
Hold Circle next to the pieces to assemble them into a bridge, then pull
the gate open at the far end. Once past the ditch, target the carts up on
the ledge to knock down the bricks and use Circle to assemble stairs with
them, or something close to that, anyway. Climb up the stairs and head
through the door.
Dementor Attack: This part is simply fending off the dementors. Switch to
your Patronus charm and use it to the best of your ability. This part will
end once a Dementor makes it to Dudley.
Brooms Over London: This part is just flying around. Get as many studs as
you can and zap the buoys for a crest (see below).
Fountain Square: Okay. Now that you're paired with Kingsley Shacklebolt,
you have the addition of Reducto at your disposal. You now need to free
the other three members of the Advance Guard.
Elphias Doge: Use Reducto to blast the silver lock on the shed and Leviosa
the hammer inside to the top of the nearby gazebo to hammer him out.
Emmeline Vance: On the left side, Leviosa the two purple saws to their
points next to the tree to cut it down.
Nymphadora Tonks: In the lower left corner, Leviosa the garbage cart
together and she'll pop out of it.
Lastly, you need to get Mad-Eye Moody out of the fountain. The other three
wizards are Leviosa-ing the fountain statues, so Harry and Kingsley need to
take the last two. This pops the old guy out. Now, his stick landed a
few feet away. Grab it and give it to him. Now, as Moody, head out the
gate and stand on the glowy spot and press Circle.
Ministry of Magic: Okey dokey. Time for Harry's trial. Head to the right
and... what's this mess blocking your way? Lame. Spot the cleaning cart
in the back that's part blue and has smoke-ish stuff coming off it. That's
something that Arthur Weasley can repair. Have him do so by holding
Circle next to it, then assemble the pieces that drop down from the
Floo Network to repair it, then hop in so you'll reach the other side.
Head to the right until you reach the fountain. Leviosa the valve at the
bottom to shut it off and assemble the paper airplane, the Leviosa it
again so the guard opens the gate. Head on through.
Elevators: First, have Arthur fix the elevator in the back. This will drop
a toad. Take it over the forlorn wizard and he'll open the box in front
of him. Assemble the pieces to make a crank, then carry it into the
elevator with the green rectangle and Leviosa it.
---
Free Play -
NOTES ON FREE PLAY: In this mode, you will be given a set of characters,
and you can switch between them any time by pressing L1 or R1. You will
always be given the proper characters to find everything in the area,
unless you have not purchased them, yet. Also, you may not have learned
the proper spells to complete an area, either.
Needed: Dark Magic, Magic Repair
Gryffindor Crest: Use Arthur Weasley to repair the street cleaner in the
back, then walk it around the five little piles of trash on the ground.
Ravenclaw Crest: While flying over London, hit the five red buoys in the
water.
Hufflepuff Crest: You need Weasley Boxes unlocked for this. Zap away
the sand castles on the playground and dig up the Weasley Box, then use
it to get the Sticky Trainers and climb up the wall on the slide.
Slytherin Crest: You need Diffindo. The garage with the big red door needs
to be cut down to make a tractor. Drive it over five tufts of grass. One
is in the playground area. Two are in the area with the broken car (blast
the blue dumpster away to make room). The last two are across the ditch.
Student in Peril: You need dark magic. In the playground, head down into
the ditch and use dark magic on the red and black grate on the back.
Character Token (Dudley (Grey Top)): Leviosa the merry-go-round together
that's just below your starting point, then have Dudley pull it apart.
Character Token (Elphias Doge): You need Aguamenti. In the fountain
square, fill up the container on the left side of the square.
Character Token (Arthur (Suit)): In the elevator area, use dark magic to
open the black and red elevator.

Interlude =
===========
After every Story Event (except for the last one in each Year), you'll
return to Hogwarts. Sometimes it's simply to move you towards the next
event, but often, you'll head to classes and learn new spells and abilities.
As a general note, your House Ghost, Nearly Headless Nick, will always be on
hand to direct you to where you need to go, so don't be afraid to follow his
lead. Of course, don't be afraid to explore, either.
Diagon Alley: Head up the alley to the back. Press Circle in front of the
wall to open it.
Leaky Cauldron: Head out the front door on the right.
Streets of London: Leviosa the gate to the Underground open.
Platform 9 3/4: Leviosa the ticket machine and give your ticket to the
station master. Press Triangle to hop on the train.
Hogsmeade Station: You'll ditch Hermione and Ron here and trade up for Luna.
Head to the exit through the arch.
Carriage Path: Watch out for Red Caps as you go along here. They're nasty.
To get inside, you'll need wheels for this carriage. Just to the right of
it are some plants to Leviosa away. Head up the path and pull the wheel off
the broken carriage at its end, then place it on the other one. For the
last wheel, zap the nearby plant with the wheel trapped inside. Place
the wheel, then press Triangle to hop in the carriage.
Carriage Entry: Head to the right and follow Professor McGonagall inside.
This will warp you to the Great Hall for a cutscene, and then to...
Harry's Dorm: Head out to the right.
Gryffindor Common Room: To leave, grab the obviously marked flowers and hand
them to the student by the exit. Once she moves, roll up the banner using
Leviosa.
Upper Hallway: Head out, to the left, and down the stairs.
Grand Staircase: Head down the stairs.
Entrance Hall: Go straight to the left.
Classrooms Hall: Follow the studs up the stairs to the classroom.
DADA Class: The plan here is to make the greatest paper airplane EVER. To
do that, we'll have to mix ourselves up a strength potion. We'll need to
gather three ingredients for the potion, as well as find a cauldron to mix
it in. For the cauldron, zap the chest near the front of the class. You
now need a snake fang, a thorn blossom, and a bone arm. For the snake fang,
take the marked shovel near one of the desks and hand it to Neville in the
front left. For the thorn blossom, you can see it in the purple web on the
left. Leviosa the brush underneath to get it off. For the bone arm, zap
the weight on the right side holding the cage up, then zap the target
inside. Place all three items in the cauldron, press Circle to drink from
it, then press Circle near the orange handle on the right, then Leviosa the
paper airplane together.
*DADA BANNED*
You've now lost nearly all the spells you had at the end of the first game,
which you couldn't use up to this point anyway. The point is you now have
access to your Spell Wheel. All characters will still have Leviosa, and
they will also have Lumos. Ron and Hermione have access to their pets
(Pigwidgeon and Crookshanks, respectively). Harry will have his Invisibility
Cloak and will retain his ability to cast the Patronus.
Anyhoo, time to get out of here, switch to Ron or Herms and have them pull
out their pet. Send it up the nearby pipe and it will knock the key off
the ledge. Leviosa it to the door to leave.
Classrooms Hall: Head back out to...
Entrance Hall: There's a kid up on the ledge above that wants a ladle. Zap
the student who took it from him a few times, then hand it over. He'll
conjure up a box of chicken. Leviosa it to the lion statue to open the
secret door.
Garden: Head to the right, following the stud trail, and switch to Lumos.
You'll automatically use it once you approach the vines to remove them.
Covered Bridge: Head on through.
Forest Path: Head down to Hagrid's hut, Lumos the vines away on the gate, and
follow Luna out to the back.
Forbidden Forest: Now you'll go visit the Thestrals with Luna. You need to
feed three of them.
Thestral #1: Head up the path to the upper area. Leviosa the back tree to
uncover pieces of a fishing pole. Use it to pull the fish out of the
nearby pond. Hand it to the thestral.
Thestral #2: Head down and step on the rock with the studs on it to raise
a rock over the stinky river. Hop across using it. Leviosa away part of
the dead tree and walk through it, then Leviosa the yellow flower so it
opens a path up the back wall. Climb to the top and zap the plants up
here until one spits out a chicken leg. Hand it to the thestral.
Thestral #3: Hop down and down into the ditch on the right. Zap the back
plants to get pieces for a bridge. Cross it, then use Leviosa on the
branch near the bird to knock a blue fish away from it. Give it to the
last thestral.
*THESTRALS TAMED*
Forest Path: You can now head back to the left, and all the way up to the
Gryffindor Common Room.

True Wizard at 50,000
Starting Characters: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley
---
Walkthrough -
Hogsmeade: All right. Time to get your crew together. In this first area,
you'll need to find Dean, Luna, Neville, and Cho.
Dean Thomas: First, have Hermione use Crookshanks to dig up Dean from
under the snow. Hand him his wand lying nearby. He'll dislodge the ice
barrier over the river, so Leviosa it and cross. Zap the coops on the
other side and assemble all the pieces they spit out into a boar's head.
Leviosa it onto the wall, then Leviosa both heads flanking the gate to
open it.
Luna Lovegood: Head up the path and zap the barrel that Luna's stuck in.
Take the tea on the nearby table and give it to her. She'll knock the ice
down blocking your way.
Neville Longbottom: Blast the lock just down the street to the left and
grab the shovel in the yard. Hand it to Neville.
Cho Chang: Now, you need to make a strength potion, which requires three
ingredients. The snake fang is in the building just up ahead. The
bone arm is in the dog house to the left which can be Leviosa'd out, and
the thorn blossom is under the leaves on the ground. Leviosa the broom to
sweep them away. Now drink the potion and pull on the carts. One will
drop flowers that you can give to Cho so she blasts a barrel for you.
Okay, now you need to get into the Hog's Head. First, Leviosa the pipe on
the ground into place, then send a pet through the pipe so it knocks down
a piece of the sign. Next, have Crookshanks dig up the dig spot nearby
for another piece. You should now be able to assemble the sign and go in.
Hog's Head: You now need to gather Ginny, Parvati, and Seamus.
Ginny Weasley: She wants a little Voldemort doll (Creepy...) Zap the
red and white table in the back which creates a puppet show and spits
out the doll for her.
Parvati Patil: She wants a bone arm for some weird reason. Have Hermione
open the rune cabinet on the back wall and take the apple to the boar
head, which uncovers a dementor. Use Harry's Patronus on it, and give
Parvati the arm.
Seamus Finnegan: He just wants a red feather. Blast the three kegs on the
left wall and assemble the pieces into a painting that gives you the
feather.

Needed: Dark Magic, Super Strength
Gryffindor Crest: Blast the basement door open using Reducto. Inside, use
strength to open the barrel on the right side, then use the nearby
Spectrespecs to see the pieces. Assemble them into a pump and use it to
drain the water from the floor. This uncovers pieces to put on the
machines in the back, so put them on. Next, send a pet up the pipe to
knock the three yellow things into the water. Now, you have to adjust
the dials on the machines so that they both point towards yellow like
the sign says.
Ravenclaw Crest: In Hogsmeade itself, blast the lock on the gate to the
small house and use the Apparition Point to warp to the other yard. Hop
in the cannon and start blasting the Death Eater targets with snowballs.
Once you get all six, the crest will appear.
Hufflepuff Crest: Blast the basement door using Reducto. Inside, use the
Weasley Box and use the Whizbang to bust open the stove and get the crest.
Slytherin Crest: You need dark magic for this. Take your dark magic user
and switch to the yellow spell. In normal gameplay, this is Focus. For
dark magic users, it's the Imperius Curse. Go to Madam Puddifoot's and
stand outside until you see a yellow aura around the girl inside. Press
Circle to control her and get the crest.
Student in Peril: Blast the basement door open using Reducto. Use dark
magic on the barrel on the right side to open it.
Character Token (Neville (Winter)): You need access to Spectrespecs. Once
you cross the ice bridge, go to the Quibbler stand near the coop and take
your specs back over to the first side to find the pieces to make a snowman.
Character Token (Hermione (Scarf)): You need Weasley Boxes for this. Just
outside the Hog's Head, you'll find a Weasely Box with Sticky Trainers
inside. Before you take those, have Crookshanks dig up the pile on the
right side of the Hog's Head, which will uncover a wall that the other
player will Leviosa up so you can walk up it to the token.
Character Token (Cho (Winter)): Blast the basement door open using Reducto.
Inside, hop on the wheelchair in the corner and roll around to the token.

Entrance Hall: Colin Creevey is here, looking for his camera. It's sitting
NOT TWENTY FEET AWAY from him on the bench to the left. Take it and hand
it to him so he gives you the key to the back door.
Great Hall Foyer: Go up the stairs and to the left.
Back Corridor: Head straight back towards Neville and wait by the wall for
the door to appear.
Room of Requirement: You'll begin to practice duelling here. Here's how
it works: You'll both stand in a circle and your opponents half of the
circle will light up with a certain color. You need to switch your spell
to that color and fire away. Do it about four times for the training
dummy, then Cho Chang will challenge you. When fighting other people, once
you match their colors you'll have to clash with your wands for a moment,
which requires you to hammer on a specific button. Lastly, you can press
Circle to cast Protego (Shield) which will give you a second or two to set
up the right spell if you need it.

Walkthrough -
Playground Memory: Now it's time for a trip down memory lane. Several
memory lanes, if it can be helped. It's Harry and (a rather underpowered)
Snape. Snape has the power of Legimency, hereby referred to as "Focus".
The idea for all these memories is to use Focus on a person with a cloud
over their head and get them that thing they want. Dudley here wants a
cake (typical). Blast all the objects in the area so you can make an
excavator, then ride it and dig up the sandbox to find the cake. Give
it to him.
Grimmauld Memory: Now, Molly Weasley wants a doorknob. Start by opening
the door on your left, which spits out some stuff. One of those things
is a brush. Leviosa it to the painting on the right and you'll get the
knob you need.
Room of Requirement Memory: Cho Chang wants a wand. Zap the four dementor
targets, then the bigger monster target, and pass her the wand.
Ministry Memory: Minister Fudge wants a paper airplane. Blast the little
trash can on the right wall about halfway down to find a net. Also zap
the little M sign on the left wall and you'll get the handle. Assemble
them and Leviosa to grab the airplane. Hand it to Fudge.
Platorm 9 3/4 Memory: Simply head to the back of the platform and use Focus

other red objects down here and assemble them all into some kind of weird
sailboat. Once it crashes, assemble the pieces again into a vacuum cleaner.
You've now got clearance to the back left corner. Cut the stairs out of

red covering so you can send a pet through the pipes. Cut the fish out of
the last wall now.

oven, and the Santa flying around will go to eat it, leaving behind the
back door knob. Take it and use it. Once you leave the dining room itself,
simply zap the gold armor and move on.
Second Floor: In order to follow Kreacher, you need to use Leviosa on the
three house elf heads on the stairs.
Third Floor: Mrs. Black does not want to let you past to get into the rune
cabinet. You'll have to use Harry's cloak to sneak by her, then zap the
nearby dresser to get parts for the pullcord. Have both characters use
their pullcord on either side to close the portrait, then Hermione can
open the rune cabinet and take the knob. Bring it down to the second
floor and place it on the door.
Drawing Room: Sirius wants you to help him fix the family tree on the
wall. Let's work from left to right. Zap the brown pot on the left and
have Sirius turn into Padfoot to dig it up. Place the picture of Narcissa
in the proper spot. Next, zap open the chest to get the colored portraits.
Place them in their proper spots on the wall. Now, Leviosa the clock to

Great Hall Foyer: Head to the Back Corridor.
Back Corridor: Instead of the normal entrance to the RoR, we'll be going
to the left to find another door into it.
Room of Requirement: Everyone has to use a Patronus to put down a Dementor
figurine. You can use whoever you want in whichever order, but here are
where the five are hidden:
#1: Front and center, not hidden.
#2: Back right, shoot both targets, then assemble the jack in the box.
#3: Front right, Lumos the vines away, the Leviosa the switch.
#4: Front left, use Hermione to open the rune cabinet, then step on the
bellow to inflate them.
#5: Back left, use Leviosa on the ball in the pipe to hit the nearby button,
then send a pet into the pipe to hit the other button, the knock the key
loose. Use it to open the dresser.
*LEARNED PATRONUS CHARM* (for everyone)
Great Hall Foyer: Follow Nick to...
Forest Path: Enter Hagrid's hut.
Deep Forest: This is a special area that you won't be returning to, but it's
okay since nothing's hiding here anyway. First, blast all the white flowers
you can see. Have Hagrid pull off the orange handle to find another, then
have Crookshanks dig up the dig spot, Leviosa the watering can over to the
right, and blast the final flower that appears. Assemble them into a fan
and ride up. Okay, here's Grawp. You need to get him three things in
succession:
Trumpet: Hiding in the bushes on the left. Zap them.
Duck: Assemble the blue thing, then Leviosa the yellow duck onto it,
then ride it.
Accordion: Leviosa a bigger one from behind Grawp.
*GRAWP BEFRIENDED*
Forest Path: Head all the way back to...
Classrooms Hall: Head down to the center area, zap the nearby chest and hand
the ladle over to Snape.
Snape's Memory: Ah, now to take a trip down Snape's history. You're in the
roles of James, Sirius, and Remus in their youths. Head to the back and
place the two pieces of the Hogwarts crest on the wall, then Leviosa the
sword so the armor drops the key. Once you move to the next area, zap all
the cupboards to find "Snivellus". Chase after him.
Lakeside: Dig in the three dig spots as either Sirius or Lupin, then Leviosa
the parts together to create shears. Use them on the branch. Duel Severus
as you practiced in the Room of Requirement.
*LEARNED FOCUS*
Classrooms Hall: Head back to the Great Hall.
Secret Courtyard: Now, it's time to have some fun with the twins. (No,
we're STILL not in a new Story Event, yet.) Open the nearby Weasley's
Wizard Wheezes box to pull out a Whizbang. Load it up so it blasts down
a hammer. Use it to bash down the wooden wall. In this next area, Leviosa
the nearby plants to uncover a cauldron for a Strength Potion. Zap the
armor in the back for the bone arm. Diffindo the red thing on the right
for a snake fang, and blast the hanging plant on the left for the thorn
blossom. Use the potion to pull open the orange handle in the back so you
can open the Weasley Box and take the Sticky Trainers. Use them to climb
up the wall on the right to reach the next Weasley Box, which has a Whizbang
in it. Set it off, then head to the last area on the right. Stand in the
correct spot on the right side so that your brother raises the Weasley Wall,
then climb up it with the Sticky Trainers and open the last box to release
a Portable Swamp. Leviosa it so it opens the door.
Secret Workshop: Now, to put together the mother of all Whizbangs. First,
zap the cupboard in the back right (under the web) to find pieces for a
lampshade. Hang it on the right part of the wall, then have both brothers
Leviosa the lamps. Zap the big box in the back there and take the first
rocket part. For the second part, zap the cupboard on the left, near the
rune cabinet. For the last part, zap the cages in the near left, under the
web.
*UNLOCKED WEASLEY BOXES*
Great Hall Foyer: Almost at the Story Event, I promise. By the by, you can
go back to the Secret Courtyard we were just in by going to the right
from here. The door is now open. But forget all that, let's go to the
Clock Tower Courtyard.

"The Cruciatus Curse ought to loosen your tongue." - Umbridge
True Wizard at 100,000
Starting Characters: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley

Walkthrough -
Umbridge's Office: Your objective in the office is centered around the
cats on the plates up on the wall. Specifically, you need to get the
black cat over to the painting on the far right. Start by Leviosa-ing
the milk bottle next to the door so it goes to the next plate, then Leviosa
the bottom left plate a few times to turn it right side up. Leviosa the
purple plate the cat kicks out to the lower right corner and turn it
the same way. Another plate (or rather pieces of one) will be kicked out.
Assemble and place it, then turn it right side up.
Dark Forest: First, head to the back wall and part the leaves with Leviosa
to release some pieces to make a little lift. Stand on it and your
partner will lift you up. Leviosa the plant in the stump a few times and
it will pull out from the leaf barrier down below, so you can now blast
it away. In the next area, you need to dig up two spots (one's under a
plant) and Leviosa the leafs on the back to get three little purple petals.
Place them on the plant to turn it into a fan. In the third area, simply
head right until you hit a large flower barrier on the back wall. Blast
the mushrooms to find pieces for some pruning shears. Move the shears onto
all four flowers to cut them off and open the way to the back.
Centaur Battle: The guide suggests building some kind of loud object. Blast
all the vegetation in this area to find parts to attach to the purple...
thing. This make a Bell Bike. Ride it to the glowing spots and press
Square to ring the bell. Do this for the first three green birds and
they'll move the log in your path. Now head further right and clear the
way for the bike. Roll it over to Grawp and ring it to attract him to the
flower barrier.

the cart in the back and place the three colored objects on the cart. For
the popsicle, go back to the left and you'll find three globes on a shelf.
Leviosa all three of them off. Once all ingredients are in, the cauldron
will explode, clearing the way.
Prophecy Chase: Run straight down away from the crashing globes. Once you
reach a stopping point, you'll have to zap some Death Eaters away, but
just keep running down to the end.
Death Chamber: Your friends are at the mercy of Death Eaters, but you can
help them. You'll need to fling items at each one. From right to left,
you'll use a bench sitting on the ground, a turnip that you'll have to
dig up with Sirius, an anvil that you'll need to use Diffindo on to
construct, a rock, and a purple skeleton. Once that's taken care of,
duel Lucius and Bellatrix.

Assemble the pieces to make dynamite (don't try this at home kids), then
bust down the right-hand stall door and place the bomb there.
Room of Requirement: Now to get rid of this troublesome book, and what
better place to hide stuff than the RoR? First, a Strength Potion.
Blast open the cabinet with Reducto and assemble, then destroy, the
dancing skeleton to get the bone arm. Diffindo the back wall and assemble
the stairs to get the thorn blossom, and Aguamenti the container, then
send Ginny's pet Arnold into the pipe to get the snake fang. In the
next area, Reducto the shiny lock, then assemble the chandelier to knock
the Weasley Box off its platform. The Portable Swamp inside will break
the pillar in your way. Head further in and use Reducto on the shiny
object, then have Ginny use the Weasley Box to get a Whizbang. Both of
these will get you parts for a gramaphone, which will move all the
instruments in the way. Keep moving forward. You now need to draw back
the curtain. Use Aguamenti on the left side and Diffindo on the right.

Greenhouses: Whoa, that's a nasty looking plant. See those three roots
coming out of it? We need to attack it at the source. Let's work our
way left to right. Use Lumos on the vines on the blue gate, then Leviosa
the weed killer in the box to remove the plants from the greenhouse door.
Enter, and use Reducto on the cage lock, then blast the plant to remove
one of the roots. Now, go to the right and use Aguamenti in the right
corner to fill a container which will move flowers and uncover another
plant. Zap it. Lastly, remove the pots in front of the right-hand
greenhouse.
East Greenhouse: Go to the back and grab the red, green, and blue barrels
in order, and shake them over the flower on the back wall. Zap the
flower and the plant behind it, then go back outside and finish off the
offending plant.
Forest Clearing: Blast the shiny rocks, then climb up to find Hagrid
mourning over Aragog. Use Lumos on the pile of stuff nearby, then Leviosa
it together. You need to find two panels to work this pump. One is in
the back right. Just use Fang to dig it up. You now need to make an
exploding potion. In the center of the area is a Blast-Ended Skrewt. Zap
it several times and eventually it'll knock the cauldron lose. Flip it
over. The yellow flowers are just nearby. The red spider is off to the
left. Zap the web it's on. As to the blue popsicle, it's back to the
right. Use Diffindo on the wall to make an ice cream cart. Once you
bust the cauldron, you can get another panel for the pump.

Ravenclaw Crest: On the left side of the forest clearing, use dark magic
to clear up the rocks, dig up the scarecrow, and Leviosa it together.
Hufflepuff Crest: In the forest clearing, use dark magic to clear three
black plants in the area.
Slytherin Crest: Unlock the safe in the left-hand greenhouse with a goblin

Student in Peril: In the forest clearing, use the Weasley Box in the

the middle to raise the platforms. Head to the left and Diffindo away
the wall to get a torch. Light it on the nearby torch, then move it over
to the ladder to clear the spider and vines off it. Climb up the ladder,
Reducto your way through the rocks, use Lumos on the vines, and open the
snake cabinet. This will raise the bridge down to the door. You now need
to Leviosa the four pieces of the knocker onto the wall. Make sure you
get them in the right spots.
Lake Shore: Walk down the path and Leviosa the blue object to raise a
bridge to cross, then proceed down the path. Leviosa the bush at the
end to raise up a snake cabinet, then open it to find a brush. Use it to
clean up all the dust off the colored buttons, then follow the pattern that
shows up on the buttons. Match their pattern four times.
Lake Center: Step on the two right-hand buttons to lower the rock to the
right. Take the piece of drink dispenser from down there and carry it,
then do the same for the left side. Now, have Dumbledore use the drink
dispenser. He needs to use it five times so you can move on. The only
trick is that Inferi are coming out of the water by the TONS. Use Reducto
to repel them in bunches, but work as quickly as you can, because Dumbledore
can be carried off if you get lazy.
Forest Chase: Head down to the back and put out the fires to get to

4 Privet Drive: All right. We need to make us some Polyjuice Potion so
everyone can disguise as Harry. You need a cherry, and apple, and hair.
The hair can be found in the vacuum cleaner on the left. Fix it up as
Arthur, then Leviosa it. The cherry is in the locked fridge. Reducto the
lock away. The apple requires you to Leviosa the window on the right, then
Leviosa the cups on the windowsill.
Front Drive: Oops. Hagrid broke Sirius' old bike. You need to gather the
pieces to it. First, go to the far left and Leviosa the tree to drop the
blue piece. Next, go to the hose on the right. Aguamenti it to fill it
up, then Leviosa the hose, then Leviosa the gutter. You'll get a wheel.
Lastly, use Hagrid to pull on the trash can in front to get the triangle
piece.
Tunnel Chase: There isn't really much to this part. Just try to get as
many studs as you can and avoid crashing into cars. For the most part the
Death Eater spells won't catch up to you.
Burrow Living Room: For this part, simply use Ron's new Deluminator to take
the light from the back left corner, and release it near the fireplace.
You have to press Circle to do both. Next, have Hermione step on the
purple pad, then press Circle to take out her new huge bag with all the
cool stuff in it.
Wedding Crash: Some wedding this turned out to be. First, use Aguamenti on
the back right so you can get to the little white object, then zap it and
Leviosa it into a raincloud. Drench the big fire on the right, then
head right and douse the little fires on the purple pad. Have Hermione
use her bag on it, the Leviosa the pick so it chops up the ice block into
a sculpture. Leviosa the sculpture above the second fire to put it out,
then head further right and again Aguamenti the little fires on the next
purple pad, then pull out a water container. Fill it up, then Leviosa it
over the last fire. You can now reach the lantern on the right with Ron's
Deluminator, so do so, and bring the light over to the cake to wrap up

Propaganda Hall: You'll begin in this big hall, with papers blocking your

red wall behind it and assemble and move the "object" created. Now that
you're free to go forward, head up and get Ron's Deluminator out. Go to
the far left corner and pluck the light from the lantern so you can put it
on the lantern next to the door to Umbridge's office. Leviosa the violin

Umbridge's Office: Have both characters Leviosa the sword and shield motif

the other. You'll head back into the Propaganda Hall, so go to the right

Side Hallway: Use Aguamenti on the watering can and Leviosa it to the flower

Elevators: Use Reducto on the shiny lock, then Leviosa the pipe pieces out
of it. Send a pet up the shaft, then assemble the pieces that pop out.
Courtroom: Time to battle Umbridge, and I'm sure you've been itching at the

Cemetery: The point of this area is to find the grave of Ignotus Peverell,
and it's always a different grave every time you play. In fact, it may
always be the *last* one, so let's take them all in turn, going from right
to left.
Far right, near corner: Use Hermione's Bag, then Leviosa the hair dryer
on the grave.
Far right, in the back: Use Diffindo on the wall, then assemble and Leviosa
the wood stove.
Middle, front: Leviosa the grave nearby, then Leviosa the salt shaker onto
the snow.
Middle, back: Use Reducto on the pipe and then reassemble it using Leviosa.
Left, front: Leviosa the snow off.
The last one will have the Peverell insignia. Use Hermione in front of it
to confirm that.
Bathilda Bagshot's House: You need to follow Bathilda (yeah, right) upstairs.
Reducto the locked chest in the front left, then use Hermione's Bag on the
purple pad to get a watering can. Fill it with Aguamenti, then Leviosa it
towards the fire. The pieces that spit out of the fireplace will give
you chompy teeth, so use those on the books.
Nagini Battle: Oh, who'd have thunk? Time to fight snake. Dodge venom
until Nagini knocks a toy out of the chest, then fling it at her. Keep
flinging as toys come out until you can fling one into her mouth. Once
it's inside, Leviosa her to push her back. The second part is basically
the same thing, only there's a point where you put together a purple pad
so Hermione can pull a big hammer out of her bag. The third part is again
more of the same.

Underwater: Swim down and Leviosa the tentacle so you uncover a sawfish
skeleton. Use it to (VERY SLOWLY) saw a hole in the ice, then swim down.
To clear the vines to the left, use Lumos. Then swim down and Leviosa
the coral away. This next part splits up the two characters. Swim one
underneath and Leviosa the rock so that it pushes the rock up above. If
playing one-player, your other character will automatically swim up under
it. Switch characters and have the second one Leviosa the rock. Now
both characters can meet up again. Swim to the right and Lumos through
more vines. Once you reach the large open area, Leviosa a yellow thing

behind bone pieces. Leviosa them together and use the hammer to tap on
the purple parts of the ice so you free the sword.
Lake Shore: Okay, for some reason, you need to create a special little
pedestal so you can do your locket smashing. Dramatic effect, I guess.
First, Leviosa the pile of leaves to shake them off the Apparition Pad,
then hop in so you go left. In this little pocket area, hop on the
branch and Leviosa yourself up, then clear the flowers away to find the
second pedestal piece. Place both and open the snake lock.
Okay, now for a boss-ish fight. Have Ron run up and smack the big...
mess over there. The cloud will summon spiders. Only be sure to shoot the
big ones. The little ones can't hurt you. Once you've slain enough big
spiders, Ron can swing the sword again. For the last heart, you need to
assemble a plant-fan thing. Watch out for a small spinning vortex. Once
you've completely assembled the fan, ride it, and point it at the vortex

Lovegood Garden: First, we have to make our way into the Lovegood House.
To do that, we need to bring down all three kites up there. First, head
to the right cluster of orange plants and Leviosa the biggest one to
lower kite #1. For kite #2, use Lumos on the vines nearest the door and
dig up the spot to find a purple pad. Use Hermione's Bag on it to pull
out an ice cream cone, which will move the bee away from the big orange
plant, allowing you to Leviosa it and bring down another kite. For the
last one, use Aguamenti on the scarecrow, then Leviosa the plants that
come up. Assemble the knocker and place it on the door.
Lovegood House: To get upstairs, use Diffindo on the red valve on the
left wall, then assemble the pull chain. Leviosa both at once to lower
the stairs, then head up.
Tale of the Three Brothers: Okay, this part is pretty much just one long
slog through a side-scrolling area. You're in control of the Three
Brothers, and the idea is to use the Elder Wand on gold items (Circle
button), the Resurrection Stone when you see the ghost fiancee (you'll
take control of her and she can flip switches) and the Invisibility Cloak
to sneak past Death (who shows up at certain parts). It doesn't seem
worth going puzzle by puzzle here as they're all pretty simple (chop down
a tree, flip a switch, etc.)
Second Floor: Strength Potion time! First, for the snake fang, grab some
Spectrespecs on the left, blast the shiny lock with Reducto, and assemble
the snake head. For the bone arm, open the rune cabinet and Leviosa the
papers. For the thorn blossom, Diffindo the back red wall, then Leviosa
the resulting brush onto the spider-infested window. With the potion,
pull on the orange handle in back to find a pipe to send a pet up to get to
the other pull chain. Head on upstairs.
Third Floor: Now to "find Luna". Leviosa the bed, then Reducto the cupboard

Slytherin Crest: On the fence and above the door of the Lovegood house

find pieces to Leviosa together.
Character Token (Skeleton): Once inside Lovegood House, use dark magic on
the object on the back right twice so you paint the token on the wall.

assemble the mirror to call for aid.
Great Hall: Duel either Draco or Narcissa, then do the old "fling the stuff

the shot depending on where the light is, but mostly, just keep shooting
and you'll hit them all eventually.
Dragon Guard: Yup, that's a full-size Ukranian Ironbelly and he looks MEAN.
You need to get by him. To do this, first Leviosa the hammer to the
dragon's left and move to the purple bell to ring it. This drops a key.
Next, go to the large green and purple structure in the front of the room.
Zap it until you knock out pieces for a purple pad to use the Bag on.
You'll pull out a bull, so use the key on it, then ride it over to the
glowing spot. The dragon will stop, but the fire in the back won't go
away. Still, the fire on the far right is gone, so go to the next
room.
Vault: In Bellatrix's vault, you'll need to use the Gemino curse to your
advantage, since the cup is all the way up on the ledge. First, grab the
nearest cup to start the reaction. Next, go to the back left and use
Reducto on the brazier (the flaming thing), then put out the fire to find
a purple pad. Using the Bag on it will give you a bird which drops a
feather. Leviosa the feather to the snake's nose and it will spit up
pieces. Now, go to the right and have two characters Leviosa the swords
out of the wall. Once that's done, assemble the pieces the snake spit up
and you should get pieces to make a snake door. Open it and grab cup
number two to spring up some more junk. Next, assemble the new pieces
into a vault on the wall and have Griphook open it. This will lower a
lantern that Ron can use his Deluminator on to carry light to the back
right, which removes the vines. Use Griphook again on the uncovered lock
to raise it up and remove the other vines. Now go up and use the Bag.
Dragon Guard: Now, to release the dragon and get out of here. First, use
Bogrod on the right lock to lower a lantern, then use him on the left-hand
lock while you're at it. You can have Ron carry the lantern light from
right to left, then raise the lantern to remove the vines. Next, use
Aguamenti and then Hermione's Bag on the purple pad to pull out a pick, then
Leviosa it up to the rocks to get rid of them. Lastly, pull all the purple
pins out of the locks to release the dragon.
Jailbreak: Well, looks like TEN MILLION Gringotts employees are after you.
Actually, don't worry about those guys. Switch to Hermione riding in the
back and fire at the windows above you. You need to hit all five goblins
in the windows.

Needed: Dark Magic, Super Strength
Gryffindor Crest: In the Dragon Guard area, use Reducto on four shiny rocks.
Ravenclaw Crest: In the vault, use super strength in the lower right corner
to open the drawer and assemble the Quibbler stand. Use the Specterspecs
in the upper right corner to find pieces to make a laughing head. Zap it.
Hufflepuff Crest: Once you've returned to the dragon area after the vault,
use super strength to open the chest on the left side (where you entered),
then assemble the Quibbler stand. With the Specs, go to the right to find
pieces for a rotisserie, which, when Leviosa'd, gives up the crest.
Slytherin Crest: In the vault, use dark magic in the lower left corner to
open a music box.
Student in Peril: In the vault, use dark magic on the cage in the lower
right corner.
Character Token (Griphook): During the Dragon Guard part, use dark magic
on the red light at the far right to bring in a trolley with a sticky wall
and a Weasley box. Have Ron go through the box and walk up the wall.
Character Token (Bogrod): In the vault, use dark magic on the chest on the
right side, the Leviosa the poster out of it.
Character Token (Hermione (Gringotts)): In the vault, use dark magic in the
upper left corner on the hand to get a gold helmet. Place it next to the
others on the left side of the room.

Hogsmeade Street: Sneaking in is... really not an option. Blast all the
Death Eaters you see. Head up the street and dig at the spot to get a
purple pad. Use Hermione's Bag to pull out a wood chipper. Get the crank
and put it in place to start her up (stealth, right?) Head further up the
street to deal with more Death Eaters, and there's an explodey cauldron at
the end. The yellow flowers are right there next to you. To get the
red spider, use Hermione's Bag on the purple pad, then Aguamenti the tank
full. For the popsicle, you have to rescue the student in ice. Use the
Deluminator to bring light from further down the street back here. Go
further up the street after you blow up the barrier.
Room of Requirement: Apparently, a few of your compadres are snoozing.
Time to wake them up.
Luna: Place the three banners on the back wall, then assemble the Weasley
Box they spit out and fire off the Whizbang.
Dean: Diffindo the red wall and assemble the alarm clock.
Seamus: Use Hermione's Bag on the purple pad, then zap and Leviosa the
radio inside.
Great Hall: Pick either Alecto or Amycus Carrow to duel. Then fling stuff
back at Snape (sensing a pattern here, yet?) Duel Snape to end the
Event.

Hufflepuff Crest: Use a Goblin Key to open the safe in the Room of
Requirement.
Slytherin Crest: In the Great Hall, blast the three statues on the left side
using Reducto.
Student in Peril: In the Room of Requirement, hanging from the ceiling on
the left side. It's NOT the guy who gives you the popsicle.
Character Token (Alecto Carrow): Once you fire up the wood chipper, Leviosa
the excees wood into an outhouse, then use dark magic on the black rock
on the left side of the street to get the key for it.
Character Token (Aberforth Dumbledore): In the Room of Requirement, use
Super Strength on the chest on the right side.

Walkthrough -
Upper Walkways: Harry and Luna need to track down the Grey Lady to find
the Diadem. First, Leviosa the rolled-up banner nearby. Attach the
three pieces to the painting in the back as shown on the diagram to the
right, then assemble the pieces to make a Quibbler Stand. Aguamenti the
fire in the back right and assemble the invisible pieces to make a hammer
and chisel. Use them on the pillar to the right to proceed. Yes, we're
making yet another Strength Potion. The thorn blossom is in the flower
beds nearby (use Aguamenti). The bone arm is at the top of the stairs.
Make sure you still have Specs and assemble the armor, which is holding
it. For the snake fang, first Leviosa the knight armor with the sword so
it's pointing to the right, which turns the right-hand slope into stairs,
then open the snake cabinet behind the banner. This opens the snake mouth
on the left, so point the sword back to the left again and take the fang.
With the potion ready, use it to pull on the orange handle on the right,
then Leviosa the sucker machine to clean up all the green goop. Head to
the right and fill the fish bowl with water to put out the fire, then
approach the Grey Lady.
Covered Bridgeworks: As Neville and Seamus, you need to blow the bridge by
finding five bundles of, let's say "magical explosive". The first is in
the box just to your left, so place it nearby. For the second, head down
the ramp. Use Aguamenti on all three flowers so you can bounce across,
then head down the ramp further, Lumos away the vines on the chest, and
you'll find the second bomb to place up to the left. For the third bomb,
head down the ramp and Leviosa the platforms into place (one you have to
move manually). Zap the bomb off the web and place it. Head back up the
ramp and past the fires. At the top, Leviosa the torch up to the vines
so you release a swinging platform, then swing across. For the fourth
bomb, Diffindo the red wall, then bounce up the web to the chest, where
the bomb and its placement are. The last bomb is further along under a
dig spot. Use Neville to dig it up, then place it.
Chamber of Secrets: Now it's time for Ron and Hermione to destroy the
Horcrux. Lumos the nearby vines and use the purple pad to get a
paintbrush. Paint on the purple strip to create a sticky strip, then climb
up the rocks to the Weasley Box to get the Sticky Trainers. Walk across
to the left and get the light for Ron's Deluminator, then go back to the
right and place the light near the chamber door. Have Ron assemble and
use the snake door.
Basilisk Chamber: Head to the right and Leviosa the box out of the snake
mouth, then put together the purple pad so Hermione can pull a DRILL out
of her bag. Drill through the rocks, then head for the basilisk bones.
Leviosa the bones to get the purple pad out from underneath, from which
Hermione can get a pair of pliers. Use them to get the fang.

Gryffindor Crest: Assemble three skeletons in the Chamber of Secrets. The
first is in the outer area, on the left. The second is in the inner
chamber on the left. Simply zap one of the left-hand snake statues. The
last is near the basilisk bones on the right, under a dig spot.
Ravenclaw Crest: At the right side of the outer Chamber of Secrets, Leviosa
three brown fish into the water.
Hufflepuff Crest: Use the Deluminator to take light from near the coffin
to the right, then Aguamenti the wall-hangings.
Slytherin Crest: In the first area, use dark magic on the red and black
coffin, then fill it with Aguamenti.
Student in Peril: Before placing the last bomb on the bridge, head up the
hill to the right and use dark magic on the rock. Aguamenti the root
that's underneath to cause the flower to blossom and free the student.
Character Token (The Grey Lady): After putting out the fire in front of the
Grey Lady, zap the wizard statue again (the one that held the bowl).
Character Token (Seamus Finnigan): Near the first bomb on the bridge, use
Ron's Deluminator down the ramp and bring the light back up to near the
hanging spider so it drops the Weasley Box, which has Sticky Trainers so
you can get up the nearby wall.
Character Token (Neville (Cardigan)): In the outer Chamber of Secrets,
use dark magic on both black rocks near the entrance. Use Hermione's Bag
on one and dig up the other. Take the gem from the dig spot to the
statue.

Room of Requirement: Four Horcruxes down. Next one's in the Room of
Requirement. First, time to make a exploding potion. Zap the stack of
cauldrons on the right to open one. Use the Weasley Box to get a fan, to
give to the painting to get the popsicle. Reducto the bench the yellow
flowers are sitting on, and use Hermione's Bag on the purple pad to get
a dustpan for the red spider up above.
After that first barrier, head to the right and use the rune cabinet to
get pieces for a shield. Leviosa it to the armor so it holds it up, then
step on it so your partner can lift you to the Quibbler Stand. You should
be able to see the pieces for the catapult. Assemble it and fire, then
take the light from just around the corner to the table so the armor suits
head off to eat. Head to the back.
The Diadem: Okay, we need to get a pipe together here. Leviosa one part,
then head to the right and Reducto all the shiny stuff in the balance so you
can get the other part and place it. Climb up with a pet and hit the red
button, then go back to the right to knock over the books in your way.
Fiendfyre: Head to the right, Aguamenti-ing as much that's in your path as
you can. Once you reach the right edge (and a fire dragon swoops through)
Leviosa the inverted truck below you so your partner can get across and
they'll do the same for you, then keep heading left. At the end, Reducto
the shiny object and assemble the stairs. Climb up and hop over to the
Weasley Box. Use it, then head to the right and Diffindo the wall to
make a ladder.
Rescue: You need to hit three water pumps to save those bozos. The first
is right next to you. Attach and fill it with water. Next, hop on your
brooms and head to the right. Diffindo the red part of the pile, Reducto
the shiny part, open the snake cabinet, and Leviosa and Aguamenti it all
together. Now, for the final part on the far left. Assemble the blue
plane and hop on it to crash into most of the stuff, then Reducto the rest
away. You can now Leviosa together the pump and fill it.

near the diadem off to the right. You'll need to zap the dragon bones on
the right, then use super strength to pull them apart.
Ravenclaw Crest: Just after the first barrier, use dark magic on the
cage and open it up, then Aguamenti the blue thing inside.
Hufflepuff Crest: Near the diadem, go to the right and zap the dragon bones,
then pull on the orange handle to remove them. Leviosa the music box to
the far right.
Slytherin Crest: In the first part with Fiendfyre, use dark magic on the
red and black cage in your path.
Student in Peril: At the very end of the first part, Reducto the twisted
hammock to untwist it and free the student.
Character Token (Gregory Goyle): In the first Fiendfyre part, open the safe

Ruined Courtyard: Use Aguamenti to fill the canister next to you, then
Leviosa it onto the big fire to clear up the Weasley Box. Open it for
the Sticky Trainers and hop up the wall to the winch. Put the claw for
it together and Leviosa it onto the left wall. Now, you can jump down and
head to the right.
Now you have a giant to deal with. Blast the statue in the center, then
use the purple pad to pull out a catapult. Fling it at the giant. Now,
you'll have to fend of Death Eaters and spiders, including one who will try
to shield the giant. Reload the catapult and fire again. For the last
shot, you'll have to repair the catapult after the giant smashes it. Once
you unseat him from his perch, two platforms will fall down that you can
attach to the back wall to climb up. Continue to the right.
Now for another giant fight. This one won't let you get close with his
nasty tennis racket. Use Harry's Cloak to get by him to the right and
Diffindo the red wall so you can make a gramaphone to distract the giant.
This will also dislodge a Weasley Box containing a Portable Swamp to sink
the giant, allowing you to move on.
Boathouse: First, we need to remove that fish. Use Lumos on the nearby
anchor, then attach it up high so it pulls up the net. Assemble the pieces
and reel in the fish. Head to the back and have Hermione open the rune
cabinet. Assemble the pieces to make a boat, then reassemble them into a
fan that will lift you to the upper area. Use Focus on Snape to learn he
needs a barrel. Get light in the Deluminator from the left of Snape, and
place it to his right to get a wheel to place on the pump to the far
right. Fill it, then Leviosa it, and you've got your barrel. Bring it
to Snape.

Student in Peril: At the second fight with a giant, zap the Death Eaters on
the right side of the courtyard.
Character Token (Fenrir Greyback): In the very beginning, go back behind
the sticky wall and use dark magic on the pile back there.
Character Token (Death Eater): About two-thirds of the way through the first

Walkthrough -
Battleground Hogwarts: All right, let's end this mess. Start by going to
the big pile of rubble to the right. We're looking to get rid of that.
First, blast the shiny part, then Leviosa a cauldron out of the mess. It's
an exploding cauldron. The yellow flower can be found to the far left.
Reassemble the flower bed and water it. The popsicle is in the hand of
the nearby fallen giant.
Bellatrix Lestrange: Now it's Kingsley and Molly against Bellatrix. Have
Molly use the Weasley Box (yes, even she can use them) to break down the
barrier. Assemble the first bridge and cross, then douse all the fires,
assemble the weight, and hang it high to raise the second bridge, then
continue to the right. Drop down to a lower level and assemble a spring
to get back up to the right, then Leviosa the two halves of the bridge
and connect them. Now, to fight Bellatrix. It's actually easy, just
really long. You have fight off Death Eaters, then duel her. Three times
in total. Yeah.
Nagini: This fight is similar to the Nagini fight back in Godric's Hollow.
Instead of toys, you're now tossing spiders at her. Specifically, spiders
with purple stomachs. The rest you can just zap. After the first smack
with the spider, Death Eaters start showing up, and after the second,
Dementors. Remember to use Patronus on them. Once you've hit Nagini with
a third spider, Leviosa her down and have Neville use the sword.
Voldemort: Repel his first spell, then take down his forces that show up,
including spiders, Death Eaters, and Dementors. Once the arena is clear,
Harry and Voldy will start repelling again. You just have to keep this
part up for four hearts and you're done!

Needed: Dark Magic, Goblin Key, Super Strength
Gryffindor Crest: While wandering around the rafters, you can find this
just sitting there in the open. It's just after the second bridge.
Ravenclaw Crest: You need super strength to pull on an orange handle in
the rafters area, just after crossing the second bridge in the back. That
will get you Specs you need for a spot back to the left.
Hufflepuff Crest: Dig up three dig spots in the first area.
Slytherin Crest: At the far right end of the rafters, use dark magic on
the black cabinet.
Student in Peril: In the first area, Leviosa the safe out of the ground and
use a Goblin Key on it.
Character Token (Bellatrix Lestrange): The reward for defeating her.
Character Token (Kingsley Shacklebolt): Douse five fires in the area. Three
can be reached in the first area. Another can be reached while fighting
Nagini, and the last can only be reached once fighting Voldemort.
Character Token (Lord Voldemort): Hidden in the back corner of the main
battle area. You can only reach this after you start fighting Voldemort.
******************************************************************************
11. BONUS LEVEL
******************************************************************************
This section covers the bonus level, which is available in Borgin & Burkes
after you complete the main story.
================
11A. LEGO Town =
================
Like many LEGO Towns before it, the goal of this classic-style LEGO level
is to net one million studs, which are scattered throughout the area in some
form or another.
You'll be expected to trash just about everything in the area, and if you
can't trash it, Leviosa it, or Diffindo it, or Aguamenti it, or Reducto
it. I really don't intend to give a step-by-step rundown of how to get
through it, but there are some tips.
Once you get a ball and goals, make sure you kick it in.
Hop into all vehicles. Some of them spawn studs while you ride them.
If all else fails, just use the targeting and see what you can hit.
It's not impossible to get those last few studs. I've done it. Just
keep looking.
******************************************************************************
12. COLLECTIBLES
******************************************************************************
This is a relatively quick list of all the Collectibles in the game. I'll
list where they can be found in general, and what is required to collect
them. You will NOT get detailed instructions here. In the interest of not
making this guide (and this section) gigantic, and so it's more easily
searchable, I ask you to look at the pertinent section of the guide (either
the Diagon Alley/Hogwarts areas or the proper Story Event) to see the details.
Note that I don't plan putting Hogwarts Crests here. Since they're
specific to each Story Event and there is no deviation in the pattern of
each crest appearing once per Story Event, it's a simple matter to just go
to the Story Event that you need to.
For the purpose of finding stuff, consider purchasing the "Advanced Guide"
extra. Once you do so, a ghost will appear in each room. Above the ghost
are several icons relating to items hidden there. You may see a Gold Brick,
a Red Brick, a Student head, and a token with a number underneath. If you've
found the Gold Brick and/or Red Brick in the area, they'll be solid,
otherwise they'll be translucent. If you find a Student in the area, the
head will be smiling instead of frowning. Beneath the token is a number of
how many you found out of possible to find, so want that number complete.
Now, caution that there isn't one ghost for *EVERY* single room. Some rooms
are considered connected, and the ghost will have totals for both rooms.
For example, the ghost that hangs out in Knockturn Alley has totals for both
the alley itself and the nearby Borgin & Burkes. In Part 5 and 6 of my
guide, I tell you exactly where everything is, so relying only on the ghosts
can lead to confusion because my total for each room may not add up to what
you see, so be wary.
==================
12A. Gold Bricks =
==================
There are 200 of these in the game, and they serve as a general counter of
how far along you are towards completion (if your percentage wasn't a good
indicator). There are multiple ways to get a Gold Brick, so let's break
it down by type.
You get one Gold Brick for completing a Story Event for the first time.
With 24 Story Events, that's 24 Gold Bricks.
You get one Gold Brick for earning "True Wizard" on each Story Event, so
that's another 24 Gold Bricks.
You get one Gold Brick for completing the Hogwarts Crest in each Story
Event, another 24 Gold Bricks.
You get a Gold Brick for every Student in Peril that you rescue, including
the ones in Story Events and the ones in interlude areas, for a total of 60
Gold Bricks.
Borgin and Burkes has 16 Gold Bricks on sale.
And the Gold Brick for completing the LEGO Town bonus level.
So, 24 + 24 + 24 + 60 + 16 + 1 = 149
This leaves 51 Gold Bricks to be found in "the wild". Several of these
are connected to lessons or abilities learned. Let's cover those first:

Event, leaving thirty-six mucking around Hogwarts and the surrounding areas.
Check the Story Events themselves for info on getting those, the status of
which you can easily check by going to the Notice Board in Diagon Alley. The
other thirty-six can be checked after you beat the game by referring to the
ghost that appears in the area. If you see a sad face, you have yet to find
the Student.
Here's a list of the locations of the other thirty-six that aren't in Story
Events, by area and what you need to get them.

Oh wait, did I say thirty-six? I meant thirty-seven. For some reason,
there's one extra student. I don't know if this is a bug or mercy, but
the point is that the 37th student will not count towards your total.
Only thirty-six in the wild, plus the twenty-four in the Events.
=================
12C. Red Bricks =
=================
There are twenty-four Red Bricks in this game, four of which have been
pre-found and already deposited in Eeylops Owl Emporium. The other twenty
are found in the interlude areas, such as Hogwarts or London. I list them here
in the order they appear on the list in the Extras menu. In addition to the
usual location and requirement, I also list the effects.

valuable searching time.

13. CHARACTER BIOS
******************************************************************************
Here are simple bios for the characters in the game. I haven't included
special abilities. You can find all that info up in the Spells section
closer to the beginning of the guide.
==========================
13A. Gryffindor Students =
==========================
Harry Potter
May as well be called the Young Man Who Lived at this point. Harry has grown
to become an unusually talented wizard. His knack for surviving danger time
and again during his tenure at Hogwarts is starting to earn him attention,
both welcome and unwelcome.
---
Hermione Granger
Little Miss Clever, and one of Harry's closest friends, Hermione still has a
reputation as a know-it-all, but Harry certainly welcomes any help she can
give, as her knowledge of all things Wizarding has only increased
exponentially since beginning school.
---
Ron Weasley
The ever faithful companion, Harry's best friend sometimes finds himself
overshadowed by his two comrades. Still, his social knowledge of the
Wizarding world gives him a bit of an advantage over his Muggle-raised
friends.
---
Katie Bell
One year ahead of Harry, Katie is best known as one of the Chasers on
Gryffindor's Quidditch team.
---
Seamus Finnigan
One of Harry's dorm-mates, Seamus tends to play the role of extra
Gryffindor character ready in the wings with commentary.
---
Fred Weasley
George Weasley
Fourth and fifth of the Weasley children, Fred and his twin brother George
are two years ahead of Harry. They are infamous throughout Hogwarts as
incredible mischief makers and pranksters, although they're good kids who
ultimately mean well.
---
Neville Longbottom
Another Gryffindor student in the same year as Harry, Neville doesn't seem
to show the common traits of a Gryffindor. He's relatively quiet, timid,
and somewhat clumsy. However, behind that exterior exists an inner fire
that just needs the right push for him to come into his own.
---
Ginny Weasley
The youngest of the Weasley children, and one year behind Harry in school,
Ginevra is the daughter her mother always wanted. She first appears rather
shy, especially around Harry, but ends up playing a big role in his
adventures.
---
Parvati Patil
A Gryffindor in Harry's year, Parvati is one of twin sisters. Oddly enough,
she and her sister were sorted into different Houses.
---
Dean Thomas
One of Harry's dormmates, Dean is a generally easy-going and good natured
person. Not much else to say about him, really.
---
Cormac McLaggen
A Gryffindor who is one year above Harry and his friends. Cormac is in
Slughorn's Slug Club and has a bit of a thing for Hermione.
---

sixth year. Her favorite subject, reportedly, is Divination.
=========================
13B. Ravenclaw Students =
=========================
Luna Lovegood
Harry meets Luna in his fifth year, her fourth. Initially, he passed her off
as a rather odd person, but he ended up learning many things from her
regarding oddities in the magical world, and she ended up joining his circle
of friends.
---
Padma Patil
A Ravenclaw in the same year as Harry, Padma is Parvati's twin sister, and
a rather interesting curiosity since her sister was sorted into Gryffindor.
---
Cho Chang
A beautiful and talented girl of Asian descent, Cho is a Ravenclaw one
year ahead of Harry and the Seeker of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Harry
harbors a serious crush for her in his fourth year, which blossoms into a
brief relationship in his fifth.
---
Penelope Clearwater
A Ravenclaw student four years ahead of Harry, Penelope was a prefect as
well as Percy Weasley's girlfriend for a short time. She has graduated by the

---
Anthony Goldstein
Another of several side characters, Anthony was one of the initial members
of Dumbledore's Army.
---
Michael Corner
A Ravenclaw in the same year as Harry, Michael had a small relationship with
Ginny and was one of the initial members of Dumbledore's Army.

A Ravenclaw in the same year as Harry, Marcus was a member of the Slug Club
in his sixth year, mostly due to uncle, Damocles.

Marietta Edgecombe
One of Cho Chang's friends. She joins Dumbledore's Army mostly because
Cho's interested in it.
==========================
13C. Hufflepuff Students =
==========================
Justin Finch-Fletchley
A Hufflepuff in the same year as Harry, Justin is a Muggle-born wizard. He
was known for being cheerful, but also impressionable.
---
Susan Bones
Susan is a Hufflepuff in Harry's year. There's not much to say about her
except for the fact that her aunt is on the Wizengamot, the ruling body of
Wizards in the United Kingdom.
---
Ernie Macmillan
Another Hufflepuff in Harry's year, Ernie is a pure-blood wizard who can
trace his genealogy back nine generations. However, this status does not
carry any prejudices in him, and he treats his fellow students the same.
---
Hannah Abbot
Yet another Hufflepuff in Harry's year, Hannah is a half-blood witch. She's
known for being a bit easily flustered, and pays a bit too much attention
to rumors.
---
Zacharias Smith
A rather annoying and skeptical student, Zacharias joined the initial
Dumbledore's Army, but seemed to only want to do so to know how Cedric
Diggory really died.
=========================
13D. Slytherin Students =
=========================
Draco Malfoy
The heir to a prominent pure-blood Wizarding family, Malfoy was raised in the
lap of luxury, and has the attendant arrogance to go with it. Harry and Draco
quickly developed animosity towards each other, which would last through most
of their schooling.
---
Vincent Crabbe
One of Malfoy's two "flunkies", Crabbe doesn't have much brainpower, but
has enough physical ability to back it up.
---
Gregory Goyle
The other of Malfoy's flunkies. Goyle is most often found at Malfoy's side,
serving as physical support.
---
Blaise Zabini
Blaise is a Slytherin who ended up tagging along with Draco Malfoy in their
later years. Not much is known about him, as he tended to be rather solitary.
---
Slytherin Twin #1
Slytherin Twin #2
Hestia and Flora Carrow are twins, both sorted into Slytherin. They don't
get much time in the spotlight, and it's unknown if they're related to
Alecto or Amycus Carrow.
=====================
13E. Hogwarts Staff =
=====================
Professor Dumbledore
Lauded as the greatest wizard alive today, Albus Dumbledore is the acting
headmaster of Hogwarts. With an air of mystery and a slight bit of madness
about him, Professor Dumbledore epitomizes the term "whimsical". Although
this puts him at odds with the upper echelon of Wizarding society, none can
deny his amazing talents in magic, nor his devotion to Hogwarts.
---
Professor McGonagall
The professor of the Transfiguration course, and the head of Gryffindor House,
Minerva McGonagall is one of the senior and most respected professors at
Hogwarts. While she teaches and disciplines with a strict hand, she does
harbor a tender and somewhat wild side towards her students and their actions,
particularly if they're for the greater good.
---
Hagrid
Rubeus Hagrid is the gamekeeper of Hogwarts, and its professor of the Care of
Magical Creatures course. This gentle and jovial half-giant was once a student
of Hogwarts, until an incident involving a dangerous animal led to his
expulsion. Dumbledore took pity on Hagrid, and allowed him to remain at the
school as part of the staff. He tends to have a rather biased opinion on what
creatures are cute and interesting, as opposed to being outright dangerous.
---
Professor Flitwick
Despite his short stature, Filius Flitwick is a talented Wizard and the
professor of the Charms course at Hogwarts. He's also the head of Ravenclaw
House.
---
Professor Snape
A dark and brooding man, Severus Snape is the professor of the Potions course,
as well as the head of Slytherin House, although it's often said that he
years for teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts. It doesn't take long for
Snape to develop a dislike for the "celebrity" Harry Potter, nor for the
feeling to be mutual.
---
Madam Hooch
A strict and caring professor, Rolanda Hooch is the Quidditch Coach and
Referee at Hogwarts, as well as the instructor for Flying Lessons.
---
Madam Pomfrey
The Matron and head nurse of the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts, Poppy Pomfrey
attends to any maladies that afflict members of the student body and staff,
be they magic-based or not.
---
Madam Irma Pince
Irma Pince is the head librarian of Hogwarts. She likes to maintain a
sense of strict order in the Library, a good idea given the dangerous nature
of some of the texts kept there.
---
Pomona Sprout
Jolly and motherly, Pomona Sprout is the head of Hufflepuff House and the
professor of the Herbology course at Hogwarts.
---
Professor Trelawney
Sybil Trelawney is the flighty and whimsical professor of Divination, the
art of predicting the future. Although her methods tend to be archaic, or
downright silly at times, it is said that she truly has "the Sight" and
has actually made some legitimate prophecies.
---
Professor Binns
One day, the Professor of History of Magic, Cuthbert Binns, simply died.
This, however, was insufficient to stop him for going to his class and
teaching it, nor did it cure him of his droning voice. His ghost continues
to teach History of Magic to this very day.
---
Argus Filch
Argus Filch is the groundskeeper of Hogwarts. A Squib, meaning he was
born to a magical family but had no magical powers himself, Filch spends
his days wandering the school hallways, usually looking to catch students
breaking rules.
---
Charity Burbage
Professor of Muggle Studies in Hogwarts, Professor Burbage long held a
belief that Muggles and wizards weren't really all that different. This
belief would lead to her downfall.
---
Professor Grubbly-Plank
Wilhemina Grubbly-Plank is the reserve professor of Care of Magical Creatures
for when Hagrid is unavailable. She tends to rate better than Hagrid at the
subject, but Harry and his friends don't like to let that on.
---
Professor Slughorn
Horace Slughorn was the Potions master of Hogwarts until his retirement in
1981. During the 1996 school year, Dumbledore and Harry petitioned for his
return to the subject, but this was largely so that Dumbledore could get some
important information about Voldemort from him. While Slughorn is a
Slytherin, he's a good person who would never have anything to do with
Voldemort, and ultimately comes to the school's defense when it's threatened.
=====================
13F. Family Members =
=====================
Arthur Weasley
The father of the Weasley family, Arthur works in the Ministry of Magic,
specifically the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. It's his job to correct
any magical mischief that occurs from wizards tampering with or enchanting
Muggle objects. His work has led him to a fascination with Muggles and
their habits.
---
Molly Weasley
The mother of the Weasley family, Molly is the archetypical mama bear,
fiercely protective of all her children, not to mention rather strict about
keeping order in the house.
---
Bill Weasley
The eldest of the Weasley children. Bill is employed at Gringotts Bank in
Egypt as a curse breaker, which means he finds treasure for Gringotts by
searching old and cursed tombs. He's often described as being pretty cool

The second-eldest of the Weasley children, Charlie is long since graduated
from Hogwarts and now works abroad with dragons. He does return from time
to time, particularly in times of dire need.

although his duties tend to be focused around routine clerical work.

Grimmauld Place. While he wants nothing more than to keep Harry safe, he does
harbor a longing for adventure that rubs off on his godson.
---
James Potter
People would tell Harry that he looks just like his father, except for his
eyes. James was known, particularly during his time at Hogwarts, for being
free-spirited and laid back, but also sometimes arrogant and bullying. While
this earned him a circle of admirers, it also earned him an equal amount of
ire.
---
Lily Potter
Harry's mother was a beautiful Witch with piercing green eyes, which Harry
inherited. People had little but good things to say about her even before
her untimely death defending Harry from Voldemort.
---
Fleur Delacour
Beautiful and talented, Fleur is part veela and recent graduate of
Beauxbaton's Academy. She competed against Harry in the Triwizard Tournament
and is currently in a relationship with Bill Weasley.
---
Xenophilius Lovegood
Luna's father is the editor of the Quibbler, a tabloid of the magical
community. Many who meet him find him just as odd as his daughter, but he
becomes a great source of information for Harry.
===========================
13G. Order of the Phoenix =
===========================
Mad-Eye Moody
Real name: Alastor Moody, this fiery but battle-damaged Wizard is an Auror,
and lives under the constant threat of attack from Dark Wizards. Thus,
Moody has multiple magical security devices in his care, the most obvious of
which is a false eye which has a 360 degree field of view. He's a key
member of the Order of the Phoenix
---
Remus Lupin
A good friend of Harry's father and godfather, Remus Lupin took the position
of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor in Harry's third year, where it was
revealed that he was a werewolf. Despite this, he continues to help Harry
however he can, and did so by becoming a member of the new Order of the
Phoenix.

Dedalus Diggle
One of the original members of the Order of the Phoenix, Dedalus was a
somewhat airheaded wizard, who is nonetheless a staunch ally and supporter
of Dumbledore.

Dumbledore and they were friends since their school days. He continues to
support Dumbledore to this day.
---

acted as part of the Advance Guard for Harry to get him to 12 Grimmauld
Place.
---

Tonks is an Auror and a member of the new Order of the Phoenix. She's a
Metamorphmagus, who can readily change her appearance without need of a
Polyjuice Potion or the like.
---
Hestia Jones
A member of the new Order, she was part of the Advance Guard in 1995.
---
Kingsley Shacklebolt
An Auror in good standing and a member of the new Order of the Phoenix,
Shacklebolt was an extremely talented wizard.
---
Mrs. Figg
Arabella Figg is a Squib, but is nonetheless an important member of the Order,
as she took it upon herself to watch over Harry and the Dursleys for much of
his young life.
---
Mundungus Fletcher
Fletcher is a criminal and con-man, and tends to look out for himself more
than anyone else. While he's not a particularly daring member of the Order,
he still has connections that many of the more law-abiding wizards don't.
---
Bathilda Bagshot
Author of "A History of Magic", Bathilda has a reputation as a kind and
friendly witch, but in her late years was beginning to become senile. She
lives in Godric's Hollow.
==========================
13H. Ministry Characters =
==========================
Dolores Umbridge
Possibly one of the most disliked characters in the series, far more so than
Voldemort, Dolores Jane Umbridge works at the Ministry of Magic. In Harry's
fifth year, she serves at Hogwarts as both the Defense Against the Dark Arts
professor, and as liaison of the Ministry. She later becomes the High
Inquisitor at Hogwarts, in charge of setting new rules. She's known for
having a rather low opinion of children, particularly those who don't follow
orders.
---
Cornelius Fudge
Acting Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge is known as a generally well
meaning person, but he can sometimes come across as a bit traditional,
preferring the Wizarding World to be running smoothly rather than informing
its people of any coming dangers.
---
Rufus Scrimgeour
The Minister of Magic following Fudge, Scrimgeour took a more militant
position to the threat of Voldemort. Unfortunately, he doesn't trust
Dumbledore and would prefer Harry would function only under the auspices of
the Ministry.

Pius Thicknesse
The Minister of Magic following Scrimgeour, and nothing more than a
mouthpiece of Voldemort. Thicknesse begins campaigns to purify the
Wizarding world.
---
Albert Runcorn

as him when he sneaks in.
---
Reg Cattermole

Muggles. Ron disguised himself as Reg during the trio's infiltration of the
Ministry.
---
Mafalda Hopkirk
Hopkirk is a witch employed at the Ministry, specifically in the Improper Use
of Magic Office. Hermione disguised herself as her when she infiltrated the
Ministry.
---
Dirk Cresswell
Cresswell is a Ministry employee in the Goblin Liaison Office. He was ousted
and hunted for falsifying his family's geneaology.
---
Dragomir Despard
It's unknown if Despard is a real person, but Ron assumed the name during
the infiltrations of Gringott's.
---
Ministry Guard
One of many guards that the Ministry of Magic employs, with more seeming
prevalent now that they're on guard.
===========================
13I. Other Magical People =
===========================
Ollivander
Propietor of his own wand shop in Diagon Alley, Ollivander knows every
wand he sells to every Wizard and Witch that comes through his doors, right
down to the length, wood, and core.
---
Madam Malkin
Owner of her eponymous shop, Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions. Not
much has been said about her otherwise.

Hogsmeade. The two brothers had a falling out many years ago, and the scars
of that carry to this day.

A rather attractive middle-aged woman, Rosmerta runs the Three Broomsticks
Inn in Hogsmeade. It's well-known that several Hogwarts students develop
a bit of a crush on her.

She's not above manipulating facts to further spice up her articles, and
is a well-known contributor to the Daily Prophet.
---
Ernie Prang
Ernie is the aged and bespectacled driver of the Knight Bus. While he
says very little, his driving skills do leave a bit to be desired, as
objects in the road often have to jump out of his way.
---
Gregorovitch
A wand-maker, Gregorovitch had many intriguing theories about wand lore.
It is rumored that he had come into possession of the Elder Wand.
---
Grindelwald
Gellert Grindelwald was considered one of the worst dark magicians second only
to Voldemort. In truth, he and Dumbledore were best friends for a time until
they had a falling out.
---
Mrs. Black
Walburga Black is Sirius' late mother, a staunch believer of wizard purity.
Her portrait remains in their home of 12 Grimmauld Place where it continually
berates anyone that she doesn't like.
---

Sirius' brother, Regulus, was seduced by Voldemort and became a Death Eater,
but ended up betraying his master not long before his death. He is one of
the few people who know of Voldemort's horcruxes.
---
Station Guard
Just a run-of-the-mill train station worker, on call to assist passengers.
===========================
13J. Non-human Characters =
===========================
The Bloody Baron
The House Ghost of Slytherin, the Baron constantly parades around with a
large bloodstain on his chest. He's not particularly sociable among the
ghosts, and even Sir Nicholas is loathe to ask him how he got the bloodstain.
---
The Fat Friar
The House Ghost of Hufflepuff enjoys eating, although being a ghost has
limited his ability to do so, unfortunately.
---
The Grey Lady
The House Ghost of Ravenclaw is a quiet and wispy figure, floating about
the halls and not speaking very much.
---
Moaning Myrtle
An unfortunate student who died in the halls of Hogwarts, Myrtle has come
to occupy the girls' bathroom where she died. Her crying tends to keep
people from using the bathroom.
---

the common room and asks the password of those who wish to enter.
---
Fang
Hagrid's faithful hound, Fang is always by his master's side, although
Hagrid himself calls Fang a coward who runs at the first sight of anything
dangerous.
---
Dobby
Now a free elf, Dobby spends his days with his fellow house elves attempting to
make their lives more comfortable. As it turns out, this tends not to be very
welcome, as most house elves are perfectly happy in their lives of servitude.
Still, Dobby holds Harry in very high regard as the boy who freed him.
---
Kreacher
Another house-elf in the service of the Black family, Kreacher was most loyal
to his mistress, Sirius' mother, and after her death, views Sirius as the
unfavorite son, working subversively to undermine him in little ways.
---
Griphook
One of many goblins in service to the Wizarding World, Griphook works at
Gringott's Bank. Like all goblins, he is extremely clever and can perform
magic without the use of a wand.
---
Bogrod
Another goblin who works at Gringott's. Bogrod was the bank teller on hand
when Harry and his friends infiltrated the bank.
---
Skeleton
Why there's a skeleton in the character selection is anyone's guess, but these
guys tend to pop up all over the place to help our characters or dance a little
jig.
===================
13K. Death Eaters =
===================
Lord Voldemort
Tom Riddle
Considered one of the most terrifying Dark Wizards in history, to the point
where it is considered bad form to even speak his name aloud, Lord Voldemort
began his life as Tom Riddle, an orphan, and an extremely talented student at
Hogwarts. His thirst for knowledge of the Dark Arts led to his growth in
power, amassing a multitude of followers, which he would then employ to
attempt a takeover of the Wizarding world. It was only by the barest chance
that he failed in this attempt, and although he was destroyed in body, his
spirit lingers for revenge on the one who caused his downfall: Harry Potter.
---
Bellatrix Lestrange
Called his best lieutenant, Bellatrix serves Lord Voldemort faithfully, as
his evil schemes allow her to wreak her own special brand of havoc upon the
Wizarding world. She's by far the most unhinged of his Death Eaters and
enjoys inflicting pain on others.
---
Fenrir Greyback
This Death Eater is special among others in that he's also a werewolf. Indeed,
he's the very werewolf that inflicted Professor Lupin with his lycanthropy.
Greyback is ruthless and maniacal. Turning sends him into a horrible frenzy
that always leaves pain and death in its wake.
---
Lucius Malfoy
The father of Draco and the current patriarch of the prestigious Malfoy
family, Lucius holds his own status in highest regard and looks down on
any of those in lower standing, especially those born of Muggles.
---
Narcissa Malfoy
Lucius' wife and Bellatrix's sister, Narcissa always seems to have her nose
turned up in the air over something. While not officially a Death Eater,
she'll do anything to protect the well-being of her only son, Draco.
---
Peter "Wormtail" Pettigrew
Cowardly and timid in his youth, Peter was in the same year as James Potter,
Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin when they all attended Hogwarts, and the four
often travelled together. He was later revealed to have been seduced by Lord
Voldemort and allied himself with him, giving James and Lily up in the
process. He's currently the one most responsible for Voldemort's return.
---
Antonin Dolohov
Dolohov is one of Voldemort's earliest followers, even before he had declared
his new name. He fought in both the first and second wars, and seemed to have
a liking of torturing Muggles.
---
Scabior
Not quite a full Death Eater, Scabior was one of the Snatchers and was on
hand when the Trio broke the Taboo on Voldemort's name. He was also present
at the Battle of Hogwarts.
---
Thorfinn Rowle
Rowle is a violent and gruff Death Eater. He was present at the Battle of
the Astronomy Tower and was one of the Death Eaters who tailed the trio as they
fled the Burrow.
---
Yaxley
One of Voldemort's old Death Eaters from the first war. During the second
war, Yaxley was placed in control of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement
once the Ministry fell.
---
Snatcher
Thugs and ruffians, the Snatchers were low level Death Eaters employed by
those in control of Law Enforcement who rounded up muggle-born wizards and
other "traitors". They also responded to the Taboo placed on Voldemort's
name.
---
Death Eater
While not called such a name originally, Lord Voldemort had followers even
during his school years, and during his rise to power, many joined the ranks
of his personal army. Some joined seeking power. Other simply enjoyed
terrorizing others. Still others joined him out of abject fear for his
abilities, and simply wanting to be on the winning side.
==============
13L. Muggles =
==============
Vernon Dursley
Petunia Dursley
Dudley Dursley
The Dursleys are Harry's relatives, uncle, aunt, and cousin, respectively.
They are Muggles of the most ardent sort, hoping everything to be just as
it is. Unfortunately, their life got turned upside-down when Harry was
revealed to be a wizard, a fact that Petunia dreaded, due to her bitterness
over how special her sister, Harry's mother, was compared to her. They are
well-known for treating Harry rather worse than one would treat an annoying
pet.
---
Dudley's Gang Member
As he became older and stronger, Dudley became a proper bully and amassed his
own little gang of miscreants, just as spiteful as him.
---
Milkman
Providing fresh milk service, even as far out as Little Hangleton.
---
Mrs. Cole
This woman ran the orphanage where Tom Riddle lived in as a child. She was
the one assisted Dumbledore when he asked to take the boy to Hogwarts.
---
Muggle Orphan
Most likely one of the many orphans at Wool's Orphanage, the same that Tom
Riddle lived at in his early years.
---
Waitress (Luchino)
Waitress (Treats)
Employees of the service industry seem to have a hard lot. Whether it's
having their shop trashed by a fight between Death Eaters and kids, or
whether they're being turned down for a date by Harry Potter.

14B. How To Get 100% =
======================
Getting 100% in this game isn't as big of a deal as it has been in other
LEGO games, for a couple of reasons.
For one, you won't be able to actually do much of the stuff-finding until
after you advance a considerable amount into the story, since you learn
spells sequentially, as opposed to old games requiring you buy characters
with special skills (although there is a bit of that).
For another, studs just aren't as big of a concern in this game. The
multipliers are dirt cheap compared to older games, so it's mostly just a
matter of finding stuff and getting things done.
So, here's the breakdown of what you need for 100%:
1. 200 Gold Bricks
2. Everything bought from all the stores
Yeah, that's it. I mean, Students in Peril, True Wizard status, Red Bricks,
Character Tokens, those all count towards your percentile, but when you get
right down to it, those all apply to either one of those two.
So, best way to go about it...
Year Five:
1. Buy "Collect Ghost Studs". Yeah, 99,000 is pretty steep, but since each
ghost stud is worth 1,000, ask yourself how long it's going to take you
to make it all back, especially if you buy it early and will be following
Nick all around campus.
2. Be sure to grab the Arthur Weasley token in "Kreacher Discomforts".
You'll eventually need him for magical repair.
Year Six:
1. Once you regain access to London, use Diffindo in Platform 9 3/4 to get
"Score x4".
2. Once you get access to Spectrespecs, go to Hogsmeade immediately and
get "Score x2". With these two multipliers, you're pretty much set for
getting any True Wizard thresholds.
3. "Fast Dig", while not necessary, is cheap and helpful.
4. Once you get Reducto, go to the Back Corridor to get Stud Magnet.
5. I suggest picking up Fang in "Felix Felicis", because he's both a
Strength character and a Digger. He's pretty cheap, too.
Year Seven:
Areas tend to be closed off to you in these two chapters, so you may want
to just focus on getting through the story. The last two types of people
you need are a dark magic user and a goblin key user. For the former,
you get the Bellatrix token easy, but Tom Riddle in "Fiendfyre Frenzy" is
cheaper. Those two are the only Death Eater characters you can get without
needing another to get. As for keys, they all require dark magic, but
Mrs. Cole (of all people) can be picked up in the hub areas, so she's
potentially easier than plumbing through "The Thief's Downfall" again.
With those characters, I suggest sweeping through Hogwarts and London to get
everything. All the Red Bricks, especially. Apply the remainder of the
multipliers, Fast Magic, and whatever else you fancy and run through all the
Story Events to collect everything else. With all these things finished, buy
everything from the shops, and take the final bonus level.
===================
14C. Secret Codes =
===================
Go to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and head to the left to find the means to
input codes. Here are all known codes thus far:
